Chapter 18

Mr. Hartley POV

I finished on my last patient and was heading out. They hospital been very busy today and all I wanted to do was go home and relax with Danielle sense she wasn't working today. When I walked towards my car I spotted another note I grab it and got in the car. It read: Enough games, I'm coming back for her and this time you want ever see her AGAIN! I can see she's at lunch how about I pay her a little visit. Oh no. I sped towards the schoolhouse and ran toward the front desk. "Hello, how can I help you?." Asked the nice lady. "Can I check out Kiara Hartley?" I was praying I got here in time while the lady called her for check out and there I saw my little girl.

Kiara POV

I wonder why I gotten checked out early. When I heard my name I waved bye to the girls and saw dad. He ran over and hug me tightly. "Is everything okay?" I asked worried. "Yeah, come on." Dad said grabbing my bag and walking out with me following beside him. He's lying. I knew something was up. Ever sense I got back dad and mom been watching me very closely, it's freaking me out. I climbed into the front seat and dad starting driving home.

Mrs. Hartley POV

I heard the front door open. It must been Eric, when I walked over towards him Kiara walked inside. "Kiara why aren't you in school?" I said. "I don't know, dad check me out." She said grabbing her bag from Eric and walking upstairs. "Eric...?" He looked scared and handed me a note. I read it. "No..no..no!" I said in anger. I just got my daughter back and I'm not gonna lose her. "We should head down to the police station." He said trying to calm me down. I said okay and called Kiara down. I heard footsteps. When she was down I told her we were leaving and she nodded her head. We all climbed into the car. "We should go pick up Tatiana, schools almost out." I said putting on my seatbelt. Eric agreed and we were on our way.

Tatiana POV

School was over and it was Friday thank the lord! When I saw the car I gotten in and immediately knew something was up. Mom didn't ask me how was school!! I looked over to see sis laying her head on the window. "Kiara....?" "Yes?" She said looking at me. I handed her report card and she smiled. "Thanks!" She said looking at her grades. "No problem, should we show them?" I asked pulling mines out. "No let's wait to we get home." I nodded my head. The the car finally stop I notice we were at the police station. Me and Kiara looked at each other confused and got out and followed mom and dad inside.

Mr. Hartley POV

When we walked inside Carl spotted us. "Hey! What can I help you with." He said smiling at the girls and us. I said hello and handed him the note. His eyes widened and looks down at Kiara. He immediately showed us to his office and ask his partner Michelle to keep the girls busy while we talked. "This is getting out of hand!" I started. He agreed that's when he said he had a plan.
