Chapter 17

Kiara POV

I was woken by Tati. I looked over to the clock it was 5:30am in the morning. I groaned. I closed my eyes again and Tati pinch me. "Ouch!!" I yelled in pain. "Sorry, but its time to get up." She said. "But its 5:30 in the morning!" I said sitting up. I might be an early person on school days but on a weekend I need my rest. "I know that, but we're leaving now come on." She said pulling out some clothes to where today. I yawn. "Where's Amy?" I said getting up. "She left, she was sad to go but she said Skype her when we make it home." She said heading to the bathroom to take a shower. I'm going to miss Amy. Thank god for phones, video chat, etc. When everyone was dressed and ready to go we ate breakfast and told our goodbyes to grandma and grandpa. I hope I see them soon. We was I the car and dad was driving to the airport. When we aboarded we took our seats. This time I'm sitting with mom and Tati sitting with dad. Today was sunday the end of my week. Mom and dad told me I had to decided today, whether to stay here or go back with my adopted family. I couldn't decide...... Mom is locked up now and I could be with dad....I can deal with Heather, but my real family is amazing and went 8 years looking for me. I started crying. "What's wrong love?" Mom said. I quickly wipe my tears away and rest my head on her lap. "Nothing." She started to stroke my hair. I knew she knew it wasn't nothing but I ignore it. I fell to sleep.

Tatiana POV

Today was the day sis have to choose either to stay with us or go back with her adoptive family. I knew she loved us, but now that her adoptive mom is locked up she might try to go back with them. I couldn't help but cry. "What's wrong?" Dad asked me. I told him and he told me everything would be okay. He looked over to mom and mom met his eyes. They was thinking the same thing. I can't loose my sister again. I can't. We were about to land. We made it back in Miami at 11:15am. Good timing because they sending a officer and Kiara adopted family over at 3:00. When we left the airport this time mom drove us back home. We made it back at 12:00 because of traffic. We all walked inside. I walked upstairs to unpack and put everything back in place. Kiara walked into my room.

Kiara POV

I never been in Tati's room it was amazing. She had a purple bed, with matching pillows, a purple flufy rug like mines, a dresser, mirror, tv, walk in closet, purple walls cover with pretty butterflies, and games and had a MP3 player where you put your phone in it and it play all your songs. "Can you come to the treehouse with me?" I asked. That's the only place I knew I could go and get my minds off of things. "Sure." We walked out in the back together and climb the treehouse. We started playing games, laughing, and talking. It got my mind off of everything until mom called us inside. I saw Carl walked in. "Carl!!" I was excited to see him again. I gave him a big hug. "Lol I miss you too kiddo." I laughed and let him go. Two more people walked in. Dad and Heather.

Mr. Belanger

The place was beautiful me and Heather walked inside and there I saw my little girl. She started crying and I kneeled down and open my arms out wide. She ran over to me and hug me tightly. I hug her back. "I didn't know I'm so sorry!!" I told her. "It's okay dad." She still called me dad. I smiled not wanting to let go of her. I look up to see her real parents. I could tell they wanted to keep her. I looked over to her little sister holding her mom hand crying. She wanted her big sister and I couldn't take her away no matter how much I wanted her to stay. I finally knew where she now belong. I met her eyes. I know now that she knew it to. I smiled at her. She gave me one more hug and step back. I got up.

Kiara POV

I hated this, but I knew it had to be done. No matter how much it hurted my heart was telling me it was the right thing. I walked over to Heather. I was shocked. She....hug me. "I'm so so sorry!" She said crying. I couldn't believe it. I hug her back. "You'll always be my sister." I said making her smile. I look at both of them and said, "We will always be family." Dad started crying and we hug each other. "Have you made your choice?" Asked Carl. And for the first time I knew what I wanted. I look at him and said "Yes, I belong with them." I said pointing to my real family. They all started crying. I smiled and ran over to them and hug them all. My family. For the first time ever i finally felt love.

Tatiana POV

Today is truly the best day EVER! My sister is back and is staying for good!!! Yay! I got to know Heather better even though I hated the things she said to my sister I learned to forgive her. We were in the living room playing.

Kiara POV

Dad and Heather stayed for dinner and so did Carl!! Me and Tati completely drag Dad and Heather around showing them our rooms and well basically giving them a tour. Tati was warming up to them I was happy to see that.

Mr. Belanger POV

It was time for Heather and I to go. Kiara was sad about that but I told her she could come visit anytime she gladly accept and me and Heather was on our way back home.

Kiara POV

"So I guess you have to head back home, to California." I said to Carl not trying to cry. Carl was my best friend if he had never spotted me I wouldn't be here right now and my adopted mother wouldn't be in jail. "Actually, I'm on a business trip." He smiled. "OMG!!" I Squealed knowing he's going to be for awhile!!!! Everyone laughed at me and I gave him a big hug sense he had to leave to head to the station, but I'll see him around. I shut the door behind him and ran into my parents arms. I loved these knuckle heads. It was getting late and I was officially back to Kiara Hartley and it was officially bed time. Me and tati groaned. I was to lazy to get up and so was Tati so we both were pretending like we couldn't stand up. Mom and dad laughed at us. Ugh we couldn't fool them. But dad gave in and I jumped on his back. Sis jumped on mom's. They were pretending to move slow. "Oh come on grandpa!" I said "Yeah put your back into it granny!!" They laughed at us and ran upstairs to our rooms dropping us on the bed. We both laughed.
