Chapter 19

Kiara POV

"No!! I want do it!!" I cried putting my covers over my head. Mom came up to my room to tell me what's was going on even the plan, Carl's plan. It would be dark outside and I will be walking while the mom and dad and the police mans follow. The kidnapper would show up and before he could do anything to me the cops would pop out and grab him. "So really I'm just bait!!" I was getting upset. "Kiara, honey he want stop till he gets you! This is our only shot." Mom said trying to reason with me. "But what if it goes wrong and gets me?!" I said crying. I wanted my kidnapper found and locked up, but knowing there could be a chance this might not work out I was scared. Mom pulled me toward her and hug me saying she wouldn't let that happen. I wipe my tears. "I'll do it." Mom smiled and hug me again before running downstairs to tell Carl. Tatiana walked in. "So your really going through this." I could tell she's been crying after dad was explaining the situation to her. "Come here." She crawled onto my bed and I hug her. I know this is hard for her. "I'll be okay." "Promise?" She said looking up at me. "Promise."

Mrs. Hartley POV

It was getting dark outside, so everyone was getting ready. Eric dropped Tati over my parents and came back. The policemans, it looked like 20 and more was coming with guns, was all ready hiding out. Me and Eric came along. Its show time.

Kiara POV

I was walking down the empty streets. The street lights were on and it was a little chilly out. I'm glad I wore my sweater. Is he even gonna show up? I was in my thoughts when I heard my name. I turn around to see him....

No name POV

I saw her, Kiara. Walking down the streets....alone. How stupid. She turned to look at me. I was wearing a black mask, so she wouldn't recognize me. She started to run, but I grab her, squeezing her, not letting her escape. "Let me go!!! Your hurting me!!" She yelled making me smirk. Just then cops and more cops jumped out of no where pointing their guns at me. I locked my eyes on Mrs and Mr. Hartley faces, they were angry. I smiled at the thought. "Let her go!" Eric yelled. "No!" I pulled out my knife and put it close to her neck. I heard them both cried No. "My daughter died in your hospital!! You didn't do anything!!" I yelled. He looked confused, so I took off my mask. "Dan...." Eric said focusing on my face. Me and Eric was best pals growing up, but when I found out my daughter was dead and he didn't do anything I wanted to get him back. I saw him with his daughter, Kiara and when he was out of sight I grab her and ship her to California. I didn't know how they mange to find her, but this will be the last time they do.

Kiara POV

He was getting ready to slice my neck and I closed my eyes and cried. Then......

Carl POV

I sneak on the other side of the man to get a good aim, he brought the knife to her neck and POW. I shot him. I watched him fall down. The cops was running towards him, cuffing him, while he ached in pain. I ran toward Kiara. "Are you okay?" I ask hugging her. She hug back crying a yes. I let her go as I saw her parents walked up. She ran to them and they hug crying together. Eric mouthed a thank you and I smiled in reply.
