Seungmin's POV

chaewon was laying on my shoulder as the movie started, the popcorn bowl in my lap as we both quietly ate from it. soon a romantic scene plays as i feel chaewon inching closer, i let her as i glance at nayoo before looking back at the movie. the couple in the movie are about to kiss when something happens

crash!

we all turn to look at eachother as chan reaches for the remote to play the scene again. we watch it again but theres no sound. which means its from here.

crash!

another loud crash was heard as chan pauses the movie. we were all terrified now. yeji has grabbed onto chans arm as chaewon clinged to me. i glance at nayoo who was terrified, being the closest to the sound as eunice holds her. jeongin just hides behind eunice as we heard another crash.

"i should go check it out.." chan says as he slowly unwraps his arms from yeji.

"i'll come." nayoo says as she stands up and eunice unwraps her arms from her as she walks over to chan. i didnt want her to go, especially not without me as i stood up without a second thought and let go of chaewon. i walked over to the 2 before we went out of the living room and closed the door. eunice just clings onto jeongin as everyone is terrified.

we slowly made our way into the hallway as we look around, we were about to continue as the back doors door knob starts rattling.

"i locked that door." chan says as he looks at us. "im going to check it out." he says before leaving us alone to go see whats up with that.

while he walks to the back door we see something upstairs, almost like a black figure. we both look at eachother to confirm what we saw.

"theres no one there.." chan says as he comes back, we all look at eachother to determine what we should do next but before we could do that we heard footsteps.

"we need to go now." chan says urgently as he moves to turn around before the light turns off, leaving us in complete darkness. a sound from behind us makes nayoo stiffen and grab my arm, i just let her as we all run back to the living room where the rest is still sitting in anticipation of whats going on. the light flickers back on right before we enter the living room.

"whats going on? have you guys found out what it was?" yeji jumps up as she saw us before seeing our terrified faces.

"somethings out there.." chan says shakily as he glances at the door before all the lights go out.
