Chapter Two.
-LUCAS.
love
lʌv
noun
a strong feeling of affection.
I was hiding.
I was hiding from her.
She just didn't understand. I had told her from the get go that we weren't anything serious and we never will be. I told her time and time again that I didnt do the whole "relationship" thing, but still she followed me around like a lost puppy. Acting like we were a couple and warning other girls off away from me.
Why couldn't she understand that I didn't want anything serious? I'd explained it to her from the beginning, that we were nothing but a one time thing. I'm more of a hit it and quit it kind of guy. She knew that, yet she wa still so damn clingy.
"Lucaaaaaaas!" came a high pitched shriek.
"Lucas, I saw you! I know you're here!"
Oh god, please make her shut up. Her voice is so annoying.
I let out a deep sigh and plastered my winning smirk on my face, I knew I had to come out sooner or later.
I stepped out from behind the door and saw her straight away. Her back was turned and her hands were on her hips.
Ugh, fuck it I thought.
If she's down for a quickie who am I to deny her needs?
I slowly walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Looking for me?" I whispered into her ear.
"Lucas! There you are!" she giggled.
"You found me babe, what can I do for you?" I asked, spinning her around so she was facing me.
She didn't say anything, simply just smiled and before I knew it her lips were on mine. Her hands in my hair, pulling me down closer to her.
Yeah, this is exactly what I needed after the morning I've had I thought.
My parents had been arguing again. I'd woken up at 5am to the sound of screaming and things being thrown around. I was used to it now, it was an everyday occurrence. They'd be at each others throats from the early hours of the morning 'til I left for school. I already knew that when I got home my mother would have a fresh bruise and a cut lip sporting her face.
This was the reason I didn't believe in love. How could you beat someone you love? Cause them pain? See them hurt? Knowing it was your fault?
Shoving all thoughts of my parents to the back of my mind, I broke away from the kiss and smiled down at the blonde in my arms. In all honesty I couldn't even remember her name.
I could never remember the names of all the girls I had slept with, I mean what was the point if they were just one night stands? And quite frankly, I was happy with that. I wasn't ready to be tied down to a girl. Being "faithful". There were too many pretty girls in the world for that.
Grabbing her hand I pulled her towards the nearest classroom.
Better release some tension before class starts.
