Batman / Bruce POV)

Her unconsious body is pulled away from me as I yell her name and run after her.

(Wonder Woman POV)

I try to move but my neck and hands are bound. I look around me and realise I am trapped in a case. I try to break free but the case is too strong.

"No, no, deary, you can't break that. If you manage to, 2 million watts of electricity will go straight through you and stop your heart. We wouldn't want that, would we?" The Joker says in his creepy voice "I got that from an old buddy of mine.".

I notice strong locks on my wrist and I suddenly remember something Batman told me recently : always carry a paper clip with you incase you need to unlock something. I hastily start to undo the lock on my wrist and it falls to the floor with a clank so I also remove the lock on my neck.

"Hera, give me strength." I pray as I start to punch the glass. Thank Zeus that crazy man isn't here. I plan on attempting to wake the others and then try to stop this madman.

The cage suddenly breakes. I fly out and pull out the pieces of glass embedded in my skin.

I hear footsteps down the hall, so I quickly stand out of sight and when the sound comes closer, I throw my fist out in a punch.
"Holy shit!" I hear a familiar voice yell in pain.
"Superman." I say, shocked.
"What the hell, Diana?" He asks angrily.
"I thought you were someone else." I answer truthfully.
"Well, I'm not." Superman replies irritably
"What happened?".
"Joker happened. We need to wake the rest of the team." I say and we start to run to the cafè.

We start to wake up everybody, but some stay unconsious.
"We need to find Bats." I say as I hear punches echo through the walls.
"GL and J'on go to the south quarter, Aqua Man and Flash cover the east, Superman and I will cover the north." I  command and the team immediately follow my orders as we fly down the hall.

"Alright, Mistah J!" I hear Harley shout "Mistah J, what are we gonna do about the Wonda bitch?".
"What do you mean, Harley?" The Joker asks.
"She escaped a while ago." She replies.
"WHAT? GO GET HER NOW!" He yells angrily.
"Alright, Puddin'." Harley replies.

"They're looking for me." I murmur to Superman.
"Apparently." He replies loudly, which blows our cover.

"Over there!" Harley points, a large hammer clutched in her hands.
"Nice job, Boy Scout!" I say angrily and whack him on the head as 2 goons run to us.

"Gotcha now, hot stuff!" Harley shrieks as one of the goons tries to hit me, but I block it, and punch him in the face. Clark smashes their heads together.

We hear grunting from another room and slowly creep towards the sound. The figure turns around and I realise it's Bat, who looks shocked and says "Diana?!".
"Bat!" I shriek as I run to him and throw my arms around his neck. When I realise I'm embracing him in a hug, I jump back and apologise "Sorry....what happened?"
"I ran to where you were, but you were gone." He explains and I reply "I escaped with a paperclip.".
"Oh." He mumbles.

"Will you two stop flirting and get a move on." Superman moans.
"W-we weren't flirting." I murmur, embarrassed.

"Get a move on, find them." Harley demands. I grab the crown off of my head and throw it straight at her head. She collapses as the metal crown collides with her skull.

"Damn it! Joker's gone." Batman says irritably, and stares at something on his wrist.
"The goons are out there. I will take her to Arkham." He says and cuffs the unconsious Harley Quinn. I fight the rest of the goons off, with help from Clark and Batman.

After a while, everybody is awake, but we still don't know the cause.

I enter my quarters and notice a box and a note sitting on the table. I pick up the small piece of paper and read the front.

Princess,
A dress and a invitation.

The only one that calls me princess is Batman. I turn the paper over and read the invitation.

"Well, it seems I'm going to Bruce Wayne's manor tonight." I say to myself as I open the box. I gasp as I lay my eyes upon a stunning black dress, carefully folded inside the box.

My mouth stretches into a big smile.

"Bruce Wayne. Hmmm....sounds familiar."
