Diana's POV
I wake up the next morning completely exhausted. The cuts and bruises from yesterday have healed. After I'm dressed and ready, I walk out the room and go to the court yard.
"Hi, Princess." Bruce says with a side smile.
"Oh, Bats, hi." I mumble and nervously pull my hair to the right side of my face. He gently brushes his thumb over one of my dark waves and pulls my body into his."This is rare, isn't it." He states quietly.
"Yes, yes it is." I reply and he places his head on my shoulder.
"I've always liked you, since I saw you." He explains and I reply surprised "R-really?".I can't believe he always liked me, or did I sort of already know? Did I always like him? Our relationship is so confusing.
"We should go to class." I mutter, awkward.
"Oh, alright." Batman replies.I walk slowly behind him into the class and we then sit down at the table. I stare at him because he seems different.
"Class, we will be working on our hand to hand combat today." The teacher announces and I witness a flicker of a smile on Bruce's face. I know hand to hand combat is his favourite, but he tries not to show it.
"You seem different today." I murmur as the teacher talks.
"And...." He replies.
"Well, it's just that you're so different. More... I don't know." I try to explain.
"Well, maybe I have changed." He mutters quietly and places a hand on my leg, but I move away."Just get ready." He instructs and suddenly we are transported to an arena.
"Fight!" The teacher's voice yells. Bruce and I quickly get into stance, but this time it's different. I charge, however he ducks. I start to throw punches, but he dives out of the way. After dozens of attempts, I manage to hit him in the jaw, which causes him to stumble back.
Then I gasp in shock as he punches and throws something, seemingly clay, at me.
How is he that strong?!
"Finished!" The teacher shouts.
I can't believe it! He's not that strong, is he? Somethings not right, I'm sure of it.
I walk slowly to my next class, thinking. This is going to be a long lesson.
"Finally, lunch time." Batman says with a sigh.
"You don't eat school lunch." I say, confused.
"Who cares, darlin'." Bruce says in a strong southern accent.
Batman doesn't have a strong or southern accent."Superman,John, Flash, I need you." I call as I walk away from Batman.
"What's going on?" Superman asks.
"Batman isn't Batman." I murmur.
"How?" Flash asks, clearly confused.
"First, he didn't call me princess." I say, but they just stare. "Second, I punched him and he didn't even flinch and he threw me in the arena.".
"That's 'cause the Bats got balls of steel!" Flash says with a wide grin.
"No Flash....I have balls of steal." Superman corrects.
"Not funny." John grumbles then starts to scan the room "Let me see,".
"Shit, he has a heart, but no organs. They are like mush!" John exclaims before the bell rings.
"Come on guys, I'm going to investigate. Act like everything's normal." I instruct as I walk into the hall."Hey there." Batman greets and I reply with a smile "Bats.". Suddenly, he darts forward and pushes me against the lockers. He dragged his hand up my thigh and onto my bum. I quickly grab his hand and twist it, but it doesn't snap.
"Sorry, Diana, I'm not who you think I am." He warns with a nasty grin and his entire body changes.
I stepped back, shocked.
"Recognise me now?" He asks with a cackle.
I growled before he covers me and I black out.
"Clay face."
