Chapter Twenty Six

Isabella's pov

He was laying on the operating table because of me. That Bullet was ment for me not him. The only thing running through my head is why did he pushed me out of the way and took the Bullet for me. He's my other half. He's supposed to be here with me right now annoying our brothers and parents.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by someone hugging. I looked up and saw mom. I placed my head on her shoulder crying. "Why did he do it. That's supposed to be me not him." "I know baby. He's strong he will make it. No one can break up you guys. Twins for life. The day Luca could talked he always told me and your father that once we got you back he would always keep you safe from all the bad guys.

5 hours earlier

I was in my room reading when Luca came into the room "twiny I'm bored. Do you wanna do something everyone else is at a meeting so it's just us." I thought for a little then smiled. "You wanna go to the fair?" He smiled and nod. He left my room so him and I could get dressed. Once I was done I went downstairs to see him waiting for me.

We walked over to his car and got in. He drove to the fair.
About 2 hours later we both started getting tired so we decided to go back home because everyone should be back by now. We were walking when I noticed people following us so I grabbed my gun from my waist banned and leaned into Luca's ear. "There are people following us get ready to shoot." He nods and slowly grabbed his gun from his waist ban.

We turned around and started shooting as they got their guns and started shooting at us. Got got most of them but I didn't see one then the next thing I know I hear a gun shot and me being pushed out of the way. I looked up from where I got pushed from and saw Luca holding his stomach with blood everywhere. I looked at the guy and  saw him running away. I grabbed my gun and shot him in the head.

I crawled over to Luca and placed my hand on his wound. I grabbed my phone and saw the first number was no no so I called him because I know he's with mom and dad. After the first ring he picked up. "Hey Principessa what's wrong." "We were ambushed and they shot Luca. Meet us at the hospital." I said while getting Luca in the car. I heard the rest of my family asking questions but no no just told me to get him to the hospital and that they will meet us there. He hung up as I was speeding to the hospital running through every red light.

When I got there I picked his heavy body up and walked in screaming for help. Nurses came out with one of those beds and told me to place him down so I did. They wheeled him in to what I'm guessing surgery. I was sitting in the waiting room with blood everywhere on me. His blood. I heard screaming so I looked up and saw my family. Mom and dad went up to the front desk before they saw me. When mom turned around she saw me and ran up to me with with dad right behind her.

Mom and dad pulled me in for a tight hug. I broke down crying. After I calmed down dad picked me up and say down with me on his lap. Nonno came over to me and whipped my years away. "What happen Bambina" I took a deep breath. "Luca and I were bored because all of you guys were at a meeting so I thought we could go to the fair. But as we were leaving I felt someone was following us so I turned around while grabbing my gun. I leaned over to Luca and told him someone was following us. So he grabbed his gun and we turned around and started shooting. I didn't see someone behind me but he did I heard a gun go off and I was pushed out of the way. I looked at Luca and saw blood everywhere on his I looked at the guy who shot him and saw him running away so I grabbed my gun and shot him then I went over to Luca to stop the bleeding that's when I called Nonno." I heard a loud bang and looked up. I saw Dante punching the wall.

Present time.

I was sitting with mom when I heard the hospital doors slam open. I looked up and saw all our friends. Once Angelos eyes spotted mine he ran over to me. He pulled me up and into a hug. While running his hands in my hair. Angel came over to me with tears and hugged me as well. "How is he?" She asked. I know she and Luca like each other but they won't admit to it. "I don't know he's still in surgery and the doctors haven't came out yet." I told our friends as they looked at me. The boys pulled me in a hug. "He's gonna be okay Bells. He's strong. Before you know it both of yous are gonna course trouble together again." Carlos says as he kisses my head.
