(Saturday) Alesha:

That week we all got closer, especially me and Benny.

I went from being a weird girl in a traveling family,

To a talented girl.

When Summer broke out, we noticed the old granny's house was sold by a family.

We didn't know who bought it,

And most of us didn't care.

But, Benny and I were intrigued.

Usually, Glendale has no visitors or new families,

So maybe, just maybe this guy could play ball.

"BENNY PUT ME DOWN!" I scream, hitting his back repeatedly. "No thanks!" He laughs, while running around the Sandlot. All my friends were laughing. "GUYS HELP ME!" I whine. "Nah, we're good!" Adel bursts out laughing again.
"I hate you!"
"We love you!" Beth sings. I pout. Benny didn't slow down. I sigh, getting slightly annoyed. "Benny, please just put me down." I mumble. Benny stops, and puts me down. I look down. He wraps his arms around my waist, and hugs me tightly. I bury my face in his shoulder, nuzzling it. "Sorry." He whispers. I nod, enjoying the hug.

"I SHIP IT!" Beth yells in a opera voice. I sigh. And, we're done here.

I wriggle out of his grasp, and adjust his cap which I stole. "Lets play!" I yell, grabbing my bat and ball from the dug out.

"Squints, throw to second!" I yell. I became pro at batting ever since Benny tauggt me. I throw my ball up, and smack it.
We never kept score.

"Woo! Go Ally!" Beth and Adel cheer.

"Careful, Strikeout! This is my heater!" Denunez yells. "Well it better be hot then!" I yell back, swinging my bat around and hitting the ground. "Play!" Ham shouts.
Denunez pitches good, but not as well as me. I smack the ball, dropping the bat and running. A camera clicks, and I instantly know its Beth. She says 'we mudt remember our childhood!'.
I agree.
Benny laughs as I leave a footprint on the second base. I slide across the dirt, my foot touching the last base as my back slams on the ground. "Is she dead?" Bertram asks. I squint, holding up my arm. "I did it....!" Before puffing again. I exhale wearily, dropping my arm.

*three hours later*

"Hey Ally, you coming to the 4th of July festival?" Timmy asks, and Tommy repeats. "I think so." I shrug, my bat hitting my ankle. "Cool! Bye guys!" The twins leave. One by one, they all go, until it was just Benny and I. "Hey... uh, Ally..." he starts. I look at him. "Yeah?"
"I... um.... Uh.... You have a leaf... in your hair....." he stutters slightly. I frown, grabbing my hair, to see that there was in fact a leaf in my hair, "oh! Haha.... so there is." I laugh, snorting every once in a while. "I... I have to go... bye."
I watch him run off. I stand alone. "Bye.. I love you." I whisper, putting my head down and walking to my house.
