Hello, ranger 2301 here, this ep is about the backstory about Rico Flores. And the conflict he went through before his departure. This has somewhat nothing to do about Gwain saga itself, but it may be interesting to continue and fill in the gaps. [The year is 2036. 5 months before the operation, I sat down as I waited in a room full of fellow men of the United states space force at The Vandenberg Space Force Base. The secretary of defense assigned each one of us to our missions. I was assigned with Hunter, Connor, and Owen to intercept an enemy satellite in orbit.

Harrison in the same room was assigned to a team of hurricane hunters to study the unexpected typhoon that appeared near the land masses that somewhat connects Russia and America.

3 weeks later, I had just finished training, a mixture of basic military training for a new mission, and astronaut training. sure it was a long time, but the weeks went by so fast.. Including my life, I went from an infant who was picked off the ground by the men of "our" country, experiments, needles, and policy, all to create a super soldier from the beginning. Now I need to give the favor back, being sent to missions that they thought were impossible to achieve, but knowing America, nothing is impossible. Yet today was the day that may have changed my life forever...

(Hunter) "Ay man, you don't look so good, you got sleep before this?"

Rico seemed to have bags, and slightly red eyes, yet his brown pupil still stood out, hunched over on the seat of the room, they were all waiting to get picked up by the car, transporting them to the launch pad.

(Rico) Am fine Hunter, just getting there.

(Owen) "Hey, so what's your type in women?"

[Owen... I liked him, a kid, who was just as ambitious as I was long ago.

(Rico) "um... I like a girl who's sweet, not demanding, and well kept."

(Owen) "Not that much huh? I'd like a girl, who's got a lot, if yknow yknow.

(Rico) "Tch... Of course."

(Connor) "Once this job is over, i might cook up some good food for us, as a celebration-"

[Connor was a good one too, I loved his cooking, got me through the worst of times. It was way better than the dehydrated, powered food, and the meals that were lab made. If I was honest, I'd kiss him to get another fresh meal from him. A mixture of vigorous training and bland food wasn't good for morale, yet it's what made the government save up on supplies. Growing widespread crops is not that effective now, as the surrounding soil lost most of its nutrients long ago.
