I head to Bonnie's at around 11 and ring the doorbell. I wait there until Ross opens the door looking a little out of breath. I give him a quizzical look and say hey. He responds saying hey too.

"How is it that I've never seen your siblings? It'd be so cool to meet the rest of R5!" I say.

"They all know people here in Rhode Island, but I don't."

"Oh ok." I take the stairs two at a time to go and put my stuff in Bonnie's room. I see her fiddling with her phone on her bed.

"Hi Bonnie!" She says hi and sounds a little depressed, so I ask her what's wrong.

"I'm just upset that Ross likes you so much." She says.

I must show how confused I am because she goes on to explain.

"I've been trying to get Ross to really like me the entire time I've known him and he never has. And now you come over once and he looks like he's hopelessly in love."

I'm so taken by surprise it takes me a few seconds to put my thoughts into words.

"I really don't think Ross likes me that much, and he's especially not head over heels for me. Most guys don't really take much interest in me. But I do think he's really cute." I say.

"Trust me" she answers. "I've known him for practically my entire life and be really likes you." I smile at this but feel upset when she asks me the next thing: "Can you please not go out with him? It would make me so upset."

As much as I hated to say this, I tell her: "Of course. Our friendship is more important than a boy." Bonnie's seems to cheer up a lot after hearing that

"Let's go make cupcakes." She says.

I follow her to the kitchen and she gets the cupcake mix. I go to grab some frosting.

Not long after, we were having fits of giggles and throwing flour at each other. I slip and fall in some flour which only makes me and Bonnie laugh harder.

Ross comes into the kitchen and sees us dying of laughter. He gives us a weird look since we are both lying on the floor and I laugh even harder.

"Stop. Making. Me. Laugh." I say while gasping for air. Ross comes over to help me and hands me his hand. I grab it and he yanks me up while Bonnie's stands up and shoots me a look. "Thanks" I say and go finish what I was mixing.

While the cupcakes are baking, we go to watch tv. I sit next to Bonnie on the couch. There's a spot next to both of us but Ross sits next to me. I flip through the channels until I find Wipeout. I start to laugh really hard because I find the show really funny.

Ross's POV

Julia has the cutest laugh ever. She can't seem to stop ever since the cupcake incident. When the oven dings, we go to frost cupcakes and Julia gets Simeon her nose. I wipe it away with my finger and notice Bonnie glaring at us.

Julia mumbles thanks and takes a step away from me. She offers that we should go swimming and Bonnie and I agree.

Rydel walks in saying that she forgot her wallet and notices Julia standing there.

Julia introduces herself. "Hi I'm Julia! You can call me Jules if you want. I love your music and it's so nice to meet you!"

Rydel sounds like her normal happy self. "Hi! I'm Rydel. I'm so happy to meet another girl. Normally it's just Bonnie but she's not home a lot." Rydel gives a look to Bonnie who sticks her tongue out.

"Well I wish I could stay but I have to get back to my friend. Bye guys. Nice meeting you Julia!"

"You too!" Julia replies and then we all go swimming.

Julia's POV

After dinner I go upstairs with Bonnie. I ask if I can take a shower and then go grab my bag downstairs. I bump into Ross as I come around the corner.

He grabs my arm to steady me and I say thanks. He looks a little nervous and I wonder why.

"I've been meaning to ask you something" he says. "Will you go out with me?"

I really hadn't believed Bonnie when she told me he liked me and I had to think fast on what to say.

"I can't. I'm sorry."
