I walk to the door. I hope it's that new dress I ordered! I opened the door to find Ross!
"Hi" he says.
"Hi" I respond.
"I have your sweatshirt" he says while holding up my navy Nantucket sweatshirt. I say thanks and ask him to come in. It's quite awkward and I hope that doesn't continue. I hate awkward situations.
"Sooooo" I say, trying to break the silence.
"I have to tell you something" Ross replies. I don't say anything, just wait and hope he says what I've most wanted to hear.
ROSS'S POV
I get really nervous and start to scratch the back of my neck. "I talked to Bonnie..." and Julia gives me a look that says 'go on'. I decide to just rush out with what I had to say. "She said that she was the one who told you that you can't date me and I talked to her and she finally said okay. And I was just wondering if you would like to go out with me now that she says you can."
I look up at her and hope for the best.
"I know"
"Wait what? How could you already know?"
"Well I might have been awake last night when you were talking to her. I was half asleep when I head my name and I started to eavesdrop."
"Then what's your answer?" I say.
"Yes" and she throws her arms around me. I'm so happy all I want to do is swing Julia around, so I do just that. I pick her up and start swinging her in circles and she giggles.
"I love your laugh."
"Really? I think it's embarrasing" she says.
"Not at all" I say and put her down.
My phone buzzes and I notice that I have a text from my mom. "I have to get home, but I'll text you!" I say to Julia.
She nods okay and I go out the door. I can't wait to get home and talk to Rydel.
JULIA'S POV
I can't believe that just happened. My life is complete. I start singing and dancing around the house just because I'm so happy. Then I realize, I really should text Bonnie, so I grab my white iPhone and start typing.
J: Hey Bonnie I have to talk to you.
She responds within a few minutes.
B: Yes?
J: Ross just asked me out, again, and I said yes.
B: Really?
J: Well I heard what you said last night so I thought it would be okay.
B: Ya I'm a little upset but I'll get over it.
J: Well I hate to see you sad but just remember that you have the sweetest boyfriend ever and I'm here for you whenever you need something
B: Thanks Jules, you're a good friend. <3
J: Np I have to run I'll see you later. Want to go to Starbucks tomorrow? You, me, Ross, and Mark. Like a double date?
B: Sounds fun. See you at 1 tomorrow?
J: Perfect. I'll text Ross. Don't forget to tell Mark.
I quickly shoot a text to Ross about tomorrow who happily agrees. I lay down on my bed and wonder how I got so lucky.
