Flare POV
"FLARE! WHERE'SMY BREAKFAST?" I roll out of bed slowly as pain hits everywhere.
Last night was horrible. I didn't get to go to bed until 4AM. It's now 8AM. 4 hours sleep.
I slowly start walking downstairs. Wincing with every step I take. I go to the kitchen and am instantly flung across the room. My back hits the wall and I groan. I look outside and see the snow storm is still going.
It started at about 5 last night. I slid down the wall and collapse in a heap. His foot soon connects with my stomach. His fist starts to hit me relentlessly and I try my best to shield my face.
"You deserve what you get." He yells before kicking me in the head one more time. And walking out the door. Slamming it shut.
I clamber to my feet as slowly as possible and limp up the stairs. He's crossed the line. I have to. I look out the window and the storm hasn't let up.
I know it's probably suicide but I have to go. I grab my worn out backpack and shove some clothes into it. I put a few essentials in and find my secret stash of money. I shove all $600 into my backpack at the bottom and zip it up.
I quickly change into my warmest clothes that consist of a thermal shirt, jogging bottoms, my woolly jumper, a coat and my tatty converse shoes.
I adjust the straps of my backpack onto my shoulder and do up my coat before I step outside into the cold.
I run straight to the forest and all I can see is white. The snow will cover my tracks. I stumble straight well what I think is straight.
My teeth chatter and I can't feel my fingers. I've been running for hours and I eventually just collapse in the snow from exhaustion.

Nick POV
"Nick. We have reports of someone crossing into our land." Tyson says. I look up with shock written all over my face.
"Who in there right mind would be out in this?" I say motioning to the window of my office. All you can see is white. He shrugs.
"I dunno but we can't leave it. What if it's a rouge? The patrol can't catch a solid scent because of the wind but they think it's female." Tys replies. I stand up and nod.
"I'll go see who is the crazy person." I say and walk out my office. I strip and shift in the living room and Tys opens the door and I walk out. He shuts it straight after.
I sprint towards the north boarder and manage to catch a scent. Chocolate and strawberries. My wolf purrs and so do I.
Alpha. Over here. I look to my left and see a brown spec moving back and forth. I run towards it and find my best tracker, Jay, stood next to a small person. The smell of chocolate and strawberries gets stronger as I approve the person.
Mate! My wolf howls. I nudge the girl and it's a human. She's covered in bruises and is very thin. I shift and put on a pair of jeans.
I pick her up and start walking back to the pack house. Shielding her from the cold as best as I can. Her lips and fingers are blue and she is extremely pale.
I kick open the front door and everyone turns to me.
Logan. My room. Now. I say through the link as I ignore everyone and march up to my room with my tiny ate in my arms.
I lay her on the bed and pull the covers to her chin. She instinctively curls into it and absorbs it's warmth. A knock sounds on the door.
"Come in." I say and Logan walks in. He looks around frantically until his eyes settle upon my mate.
