It was the next morning and I was the only one up, so I decided to have some breakfast. I got up to the counter and opened the cupboard, collecting in my hand the cereal. I got a bowl from another and a spoon from the cutlery drawer.

And I walk over to the island in which I begin to eat, and I think. I think about my life has become. How only a few weeks ago I was feeding Daisy and going into school for my results. And now I'm signed to a record label. And how I've it some new awesome friends who are too. And how I have a pretty awesome life.

It isn't long until Tris gets up, and yawns. He nearly toppled over like the Leaning Tower Of Pisa finally collapsing when he attempts to stand up, and just as he did, I ending up it fits of laughter. And woke everyone up.

They all yawn in unison and yell my name. But all I can say is "Sorry!", sarcastically I must admit.

Ring...ring...ring.
Ring...ring...ring.
Ring...ring..-

"Hello?" I say as I pick up the phone and leave the room.

"Hey Bailey this is mum, and I was just calling to say that I will be late home."

"Oh ok, that won't be too bad. Will you be back for supper?" I ask.

"No, not really. When I say late, I mean more like a few days. You see Pauline has collapsed, I was staying with her so now we are at the hospital. I'm going to stay for a few days with her, so I won't be back today sweetie."

If you were were wondering, Pauline, is my mums friend who she was staying with. And she is like my grandma I never had, mine died before I was born, quite early so she only had a short lifetime.

And Pauline always kindof, I wouldn't say filled in a replacement way. But she always was there for me and was like my grandma.

"Oh, or she ok?! What happened?!" I rattle the questions now and raise my voice a bit.

"Well I've not been in yet but the doctors say that she's fine and that they'll keep her for a few nights for observation. I'm sorry honey, but they're saying she'll be ok. So there isn't anything to worry about."

"Mmm, alright." I sigh a sad sigh. "When you see her send her my love."

"Alright I will, I'll tell you how she is aswell."

"And mum?" I was about to tell her about the record signing, but then I kindof spaced. It just doesn't feel like the time to bounce good, happy news on sad news. So I decide to wait and tell her later on.

"Yeah love?"

"I know that this probably isn't....appropriate I think you would say. But since you won't be here, could the guys stay for longer too?" I make up a quick fix, and say something just as good.

"Ok honey, hang in there. I love you."

"Love you too mum."

We both say our goodbyes and hang up.

I then go back downstairs from my phone call and wait at the top of the stairs until I get everybodys' attention.

"Do you want the good news or the bad news?"

They all just look confused with their heads to the side like a dog, but Con and Lucy worried.

"Well the good news is, do you want to stay for a few more days?" They all smile, with a pleading yes. "But the bad news is, Auntie Pauline collapsed."

Lucy and Connor's faces just fade, they were so close too. Whereas everyone else kept the confused face. Luckily Connor explained and Lucy followed me upstairs to my room.

I cried on her shoulder for a bit, although I know she isn't gone... But I know also that she is sensitive to medical problems aswell.

Later on when we all calm down, we decide to go out. And we plan to have a day out on the pier at the seaside to fully cheer us up.
