A Dinner With Victor And Amy Confessing?

I set the pack of documents on my desk and I sighed of exhausted, it's been about a few months since i got this job as a doctor and i really gotta say that it has been great! The issue? Well the issue is that i barely have a break for myself nowadays but honestly i don't mind i like working as a doctor i get to help other people be better! Soon i hear the door knock i raise an eyebrow up as i spoke,

"Come in."

Victor opens the door he was wearing his usual doctor uniform while his black hair all kinda messed up,

"Ah Jaiden i see you're working."

Victor says as he walks over my desk flipping the papers checking information in it,

i nod as i smile a bit awkwardly,

"Uh huh . . . Is there something you need?"

i shift away from Victor awkwardly that i think Victor notices my awkwardness at this point cause he looks at me as i shift away,

He clears his throat,

"Ah yes i was wondering if you could meet me at a restaurant tonight?"

I almost choke on my saliva and look up at him he had a faint pink blush on his cheeks,

"Excuse me?"

i say in a shocked tone, Victor just suddenly goes into my office and is asking me out?

"It's for work!" Victor says as he soon adds it with a chuckle,

"Oh it's for work . . . ?"

I highly doubt that this is all for work, either way i'm not interested i'm more into Amy but i wanna take it slow and get to know her,

"Yeah! For work so um yeah it's tonight."

i clear my throat awkwardly, should i really go to this dinner? I'm pretty sure this isn't work related,

"Uh sure i guess i'll go where is the place?"

Victor shakes his head as he spoke up,

"Don't worry i'll pick you up."

Weird . . .

i just nod as i grab the document papers and shove them in the grey modern drawer, i'm expecting Victor to leave but no he just stays there as his hands are buried in his pockets. A few minutes later Victor is still in the corner while waiting . . . i honestly can't deal with this awkwardness anymore Victor can save this awkwardness for dinner cause i'm leaving, i grab my black tote bag and my black coat, i put the black coat on and walk away from my office immediately.

I rushed outside of the hospital quickly feeling tired and uncomfortable . . . very uncomfortable . . . i pant tiredly as i grip my tote bag, why do i feel so uncomfortable with him . . .? i shook away the feeling and walked up to the parking lot where my Ford grey car was i started approaching the car until i felt someone tug my arm i flinch a bit, i felt my face go pale for a second,

"Jaiden?"

I feel my heart skip a beat as I hear Amy's voice i turn around to see Amy's brown eyes and her soft peach brown skin and her brown reddish wavy hair,

"Amy? Hey it's been a while."

I say softly as i hold her hands and smile,

"Yeah it has."

Amy soon adds with a heartily chuckle which makes me have a shiver down my spine,

"How have you been?"
