The sun was setting over the campus, casting a warm, golden glow as Aditi walked out of her last class for the day. She stretched her arms, feeling the relief of another intense day completed. As she reached the main courtyard, she noticed Raghav leaning against a tree nearby, looking at his phone but glancing up with a smile when he saw her.

Raghav: "Aditi! Free at last?"

Aditi laughed, her heart lifting at the sight of him.

Aditi: "Yes! It's been a long day."

Raghav (grinning): "Then how about we take a walk? I found a quiet spot on campus I think you'll like."

Curious, Aditi agreed, and they began strolling side by side, their conversation flowing easily.

Raghav led her to a secluded garden nestled behind one of the older buildings on campus. It was a peaceful spot with flowering vines draped over benches, and a small pond reflecting the vibrant colors of the sunset.

Aditi (eyes wide, taking it all in): "I had no idea this place was here. It's beautiful!"

Raghav (nodding): "I stumbled upon it by accident. It's nice to have a place where you can escape from everything for a while."

They sat down on a bench, the quiet atmosphere enveloping them. For a moment, they simply enjoyed the stillness, both feeling a sense of ease in each other's presence.

After a few minutes, Raghav turned to her, his gaze thoughtful.

Raghav: "Do you ever feel... like you're carrying the weight of others' expectations?"

Aditi looked at him, surprised. She hadn't expected such a candid question, but it touched on a feeling she understood deeply.

Aditi (nodding): "All the time. My family sacrificed so much for me to be here. I want to succeed, not just for myself, but for them. It's a lot to carry, but... it also gives me purpose."

Raghav listened, his expression softening with empathy.

Raghav: "I understand that feeling more than you know. Sometimes, I feel like my path was set for me before I even had a choice. But lately, I've realized I want something different. I want to be part of the real world, to understand it better."

Aditi smiled, touched by his words.

Aditi: "Well, you're doing that, aren't you? You're here, studying alongside everyone else. That takes courage."

They shared a quiet look of understanding, and Aditi felt her admiration for him deepen. She realized that beneath his calm demeanor, Raghav carried his own struggles, his own dreams that reached beyond what was expected of him.

Their conversation flowed naturally, each sharing pieces of themselves they rarely revealed to others. Aditi found herself opening up about her village, her family, and her hope to one day help uplift her community. She was touched by Raghav's attentive listening, his genuine interest in her life.

Raghav (thoughtfully): "You're working hard not just for yourself, but for everyone you care about. That's rare, Aditi."

Aditi smiled shyly, looking down at her hands.

Aditi: "Sometimes, it feels overwhelming. But I remind myself that it's all worth it. And... it helps to have a friend who understands."

She looked up at him, her gaze warm, and Raghav felt a pang of happiness at her words. The idea of being her friend, someone she trusted, felt meaningful to him.

Raghav (smiling): "I feel the same way. I'm glad we met."

As they walked back toward the main part of campus, Raghav's thoughts lingered on the secret he was keeping from Aditi. He was enjoying the freedom of being seen as a normal student, someone who could connect with Aditi without the barrier of his title. But he also knew that hiding his identity couldn't go on forever.

Raghav (thinking): "How will she react if she finds out? Will she see me differently?"

He decided to let the moment unfold naturally. For now, he wanted to enjoy the simplicity of their friendship without any pretenses or expectations.

As they reached her hostel, Aditi turned to him with a soft smile.

Aditi: "Thank you, Raghav. For the walk... and for listening. It means a lot to me."

Raghav: "Anytime, Aditi. It's nice to have someone to talk to who sees the world with the same hope."

They shared a brief, meaningful look, and Aditi felt a warmth bloom within her. Their friendship had become something special—a bond that made her feel less alone in the big city, a connection that grounded her.

As she watched him walk away, Aditi realized that her life in Rajapur had become brighter since meeting Raghav. She felt a growing trust in him, a sense that they understood each other in ways few people could.

In her room that night, she thought about their conversation, grateful for his friendship but also wondering if there might be something more between them—a spark waiting to be acknowledged. She brushed the thought away, reminding herself that they came from different worlds. Yet, she couldn't deny that her heart had begun to hope.
