Not long after they all started walking through the door everyone immediately saw Shinta and smiled happy to she is there but also confused after the broadcast they had all seen. As everyone came in they said hi before going to out their things away before coming back down taking a seat. They all knew if she was sitting in the common area like that she must have something to share with everyone like she had in the past. Finally Bakugo, shoto, Shinso and aizawa walked in last. Shinta immediately helped aizawa get seated even though he tried to tell her he was fine; now that everyone was there and seated she began to get nervous again. Bakugo sitting to her right took her hand in his reassuringly "you got this" he said with a smirk. "So where do you want me to begin?" She asked them figuring that would be the best way to start. Everyone look around at each other then back to her "From when you left UA. All most of us know is that you left in the middle of the night, that following day they were going to try to kick you out of UA. So let's start with that" shoto said breaking the silence. It was like everyone was still shocked she was there. "To start there will bring some other things up as well but it probably would be best to start there. Before I get into it; what I did out there was what I needed to do to be safe. I was safe and around others who cared about me just please believe me on that" she said before taking a deep breath "I left UA that night because it was that or possibly locked up because Endeavor wanted me out of the way. Afraid that if people found out he had a child that wasn't his wife's it would ruin him. I left in the hopes that one day I could return. When I left here for the time being I had to also say goodbye to being a hero. He had those search teams out looking for me constantly. I'm sure you all heard the broadcast Dabi had made the day of the big fight. He wasn't lying my biological father is Enji Todoroki I just have a different mother. I had bumped into Dabi and we had recognized each other from when we were younger. So I was living with the LOV" she said before looking down unsure how any of them would take it.

Half of them looked at Bakugo in shock that he seemed calm with the news. "Wait so does that mean you know who Yami is?" Denki said finally breaking the awkwardness in the air. Shinta looked over to Aizawa who nodded his head reassuringly and Shinta pulled her mask out from behind her showing them it. "I do know who she is, because she and I are one and the same. Like I said I did what I needed to do out there. Staying with them being kept safe was only free for so long before I had to help pull my weight. Soon enough my mask here became a staple of Yami even though that wasn't my intention for it" she explained to them. "Then why the mask?" Kirishima asked and Bakugo gave Shinta's hand a soft squeeze before he let go and she stood up. After taking a deep breath she put the mask on; it was the first time she had changed forms since before she got really sick. Before everyone's eyes Shinta changed into a small kitsune and she circled around letting them get a good look at her. Bakugo, shoto and Aizawa all seemed rather unfazed while everyone else was in shock at what they were seeing. Soon enough Shinta turned back to normal taking the mask back off before returning to her seat next to Bakugo.

"So let's see if I'm understanding thing correctly. The night you left UA somehow you knew what was going to happen the following day and left before they got here. You found Dabi and hid with the villains. There seems to be quite a bit missing still for it to make sense to me. How did you know they were coming for you that night?" Iida asked and Aizawa chimed in "Principal Nezu informed me seeing as I am her adopted father and caretaker. He gave her a second option because like myself he sees the potential Shinta has. He told us both that night if she were to leave in her own before they arrived she would be welcome to come back later no questions" Iida nodded in response. "So we know Dabi is your older brother of the Todoroki lineage but why did you feel safe with him? Knowing he was a villain?" He then asked her. Shinta knew someone would ask her this at some point; what she was about to share even Aizawa didn't know fully. "Dad this is gonna be new to you as well" she said to Aizawa who looked a bit nervous after hearing that. "So from as early as I can remember while I lived in that house I was kept in one room. I was only allowed out to train or to use the bathroom. The room I was in was Touya's room; he always took care of me. He would make sure to bring me food seeing as I rarely got enough back then. He would comfort me when Enji would scream or abuse me. The collar around my neck was a gift from him when we were still under that roof. He had given it too me just days before the accident and I was cast out. So yes I felt safe with him due to the promise he had made back then to me" she said and everyone was speechless even Bakugo. Shoto looked away he had small flashbacks of back then of himself trying to sneak her food and getting caught remembering how cruel his father always was towards her. "Would you mind telling us what that promise was?" Shoto asked her with a hopeful smile that it wouldn't upset her that he asked. "Touya told me the night he gave it to me that as long as he draws breath it will never come off. So that no matter where I am or how far away he is from me I would know someone out there loves me. He was always so protective anytime I would have a nightmare he would hold me and hum that lullaby your mom would sing to you guys till I fell back asleep" she said to him with a smile.

Aizawa and Shinso both looked at each other once hearing the new information and just simply nodded to one another. It was their way of making a mental note for the next family talk when they check in Shinta. Aizawa also made sure to remember just how important the collar was to her and that she may also be the key to making a break through with Dabi after all. "So...how is it you can turn into that other form? We saw that you used the mask but how?" Uraraka asked and even Aizawa seemed interested in this answer. "I'm sure some of you may already have a feeling as to what the answer is. While I was with the LOV there was a time where Dabi was out doing things more and I was at the hideout with the others. During that time I got to know Shigg-Shigaraki and we actually started becoming friends. He offered a gift something that would help make me stronger with out taking away from the power I already had. I was also at a low point at the time mentally I will admit. So I agreed to let the doctor give me another quirk; the ability to turn into creatures using an item as the totem for the transformation. I was told what the quirk would be and was given time to prepare before the procedure. The day of the procedure the doctor added something else a small amount of another quirk. I didn't know what it was until after that big fight. The doctor showed kindness surprisingly and had added a very small bit of a healing quirk. I already know it was dumb, I shouldn't have done it. 'What was I thinking?' Dabi said it all to me when he found out as well. I made the decision and added the burden to myself; if because of my choice you wish me to go I would understand" she said before looking down at the floor. Bakugo could feel the fear practically radiating from her of them all turning on her. He was one of the lucky ones to have already heard this news and he hugged her to him making sure she could hear his heart beat while everyone processed the information they just heard. Aizawa groaned at the fact that she made that choice but could also tell how scared she was. "It was dangerous. You were lucky; we are lucky. You are where you belong..." Aizawa began "You may have made a risky call with what you did but your still you. You're still our friend" Yaoyorozu said and Shinta looked up from Bakugo's chest sitting back up. "Really? I was afraid you guys wouldn't want me around. Afraid I would turn into a monster" she said softly and shoto came over to her pulling her up and into a hug. "That's enough of that sis. Your home where you belong. We all have been waiting for the day when we would see you back here with us in the dorms. It hasn't been the same ever since you left" Shoto said and everyone was shocked to hear him open up some. He was typically closed off with his emotions around everyone.

Not long after everyone else of class 1A joined in the hug. Shinta froze up feeling them all hugging her she didn't really know how to react. "Welcome back. We are all glad your back home with us" Shinso said before joining in the group hug followed by surprisingly Aizawa joining in before they all let her go returning to their seats. "So after the big fight why didn't you come back sooner?" Froppy then asked and Shinta nodded getting back on track. "As I said I am Yami. Yami had orders that day from Shigaraki that's were to 'follow my gut. No matter which side I choose. Do what I felt was right'. So that's what happened. I chose to help my fellow heroes when the time came. What ever procedure Shigaraki under went changed him. He wasn't the same Shigaraki that gave me those orders the day of the fight. During the fight when Deku and I were fighting him. He told me I betrayed him after giving me this new quirk and he would make me pay. So I went into hiding not wanting to risk him coming after any of you. I tried to help clean up the mess he was making while I was out there. Finally Bakugo found me and after being stubborn and getting sick. He and Shinso brought me back" Shinta said sighing glad to finally be done with it. She knows she left quite a bit out but she also doesn't know how much they all know about what happened at that location. The only ones that she knows knew what happened were the ones that were at that part of the fight. They were all silent for a moment they didn't know much about what happened at the hospital that day. "You did make the right call. From what Aizawa has told us you saved him that day. He had told us if it wasn't for your quick thinking with his leg he could have bled out. So you chose the right side, helped fight the villains and saved the life of not just a fellow hero but your dad" Shoto said to her with a smile and everyone else smiled nodding in agreement.
