Somehow when he had to catch
The ball always reached my place
I tried to help him win the match
But I threw it at his face

The nurse seemed unaware
Of the guilt that crept
But it was I who was beware
Of my every other step

How he knew?
I'll never know
But oh dear,heknew
And he came to me slow

My heart was driving off the walls
And then I heard him
As my name he called
And said it was him

 I asked, " I'm sorry?
How was it you again?"
'I was lost and I'm sorry'
He said with little pain

But why were you sorry,my dear?
I didn't ask him then
Why? I'll make it clear
I was lost too,my friend.
