I've told you the rest
The tears and the drugs
I tried my best
To clear my lungsBut the smoke caged me
I had smoked a motley
The burns calmed me
Killed his melodyThe rest was his return
He came back again
This time not to rob me,
Not for his own gainHe was hurting too
When he saw me in rehab
He swore he would get me out too
And satiate my drabBut he had to go
To earn his stature
Had to break his vow
To culminate his nature.
