ARE YOU DOWN

Chapter 5 : The Morning After

Riqo Point Of View

Juicy was still breathin' hard, her body pressed against mine, skin all warm and damp from how hard I just fucked her. My hands traced lazy circles on her thigh while she laid there, tryna catch her breath.

I wasn't lettin' her go. Not tonight. Not ever.

I leaned in, my lips pressin' against her ear, my voice low and deep. "You hear me, right?"

She swallowed, her fingers twitchin' against my chest. "Hear what?"

I turned her face to me, makin' her look in my eyes. "I told you. Ain't nobody else. That shit with Kiara? Nothin'. She was botherin' me, comin' on to me when I ain't want her ass. I ain't been fuckin' with her."

Juicy let out a little scoff, tryna turn her head away, but I ain't let her.

"Nah, look at me," I murmured, my thumb brushin' over her lips. "You mine, baby. Ain't no other bitch. Ain't never gon' be."

She licked her lips, her eyes searchin' mine. I could see that little hesitation, that little wall she kept up.

But I wasn't lettin' her shut me out.

"I ain't tryna lose you, Juice," I admitted, my voice softer now, but still firm. "Three weeks? That shit was hell. You ignorin' my calls, my texts? Had me out here feelin' some type of way. I ain't used to that."

She stayed quiet, playin' with the chain around my neck.

I grabbed her hand, pressin' a kiss to her fingers. "Ain't no chick out here mean shit to me but you."

She sighed, her nails draggin' down my chest. "You make it real hard to stay mad at you."

I smirked, slidin' my hand down her waist. "That's 'cause you know I'm tellin' the truth."

She bit her lip, then finally met my eyes. "You really ain't been messin' with nobody else?"

I frowned, sittin' up a little. "Nah, ma. You the only one got my attention. Got my heart, too."

That made her pause. I knew she wasn't expectin' me to say all that. But I meant it.

After a second, she sighed again, sittin' up against the pillows. "Riqo..." She chewed on her lip, lookin' all hesitant like she was fightin' somethin'.

I ran my hand up her thigh, squeezin' a little. "Talk to me."

She took a deep breath. "I'ma quit the job."

That caught me off guard for a second. I ain't expect her to say that, at least not this soon.

"You serious?"

She nodded, her fingers still playin' with my chain. "Yeah. I been thinkin' 'bout it. The club... it ain't for me no more."

I sat up, pullin' her into my lap. "This what you wanna do? Or is it 'cause I keep trippin' over it?"

She sighed, restin' her head against my chest. "Both."

I stroked her back, lettin' my fingers trace her spine. "I ain't tryna control you, Juice. But I ain't gon' lie, I hate the idea of you dancin' for other niggas. That shit make me sick."

She laughed a little. "Yeah, I noticed."

I gripped her chin, makin' her look at me again. "But if you do this, you doin' it 'cause you want to. Not just for me."

She nodded, her eyes soft now. "I want to."

I kissed her slow, my hands slidin' down her waist, pullin' her closer. "Good," I murmured against her lips. "'Cause I want you all to myself."

She smirked. "You already got me."

And I wasn't lettin' her go.
