A/N: the picture put up is Trent

"These four are proven to be Supreme Ones," says Trent, gesturing to a clear board with photos of their faces.
"You will go in groups, capture and kill your assigned Supreme. Report back here once you do so and with their dead body."

This is the weekly routine. We get given different people to kill, almost like a project. Every meeting gets even more boring than the last, and there's definitely nothing about this meeting that would break the streak.

I rest my chin in the palm of my hand as I tune out my co-leader, Trent.

Trent was very annoying. He always had to wear sunglasses inside. He was probably giving us dirty looks behind them. He had short, straight, light brown hair with a hint of blond, which he slicked up into a quiff. He thought he was above everyone in the facility, yet he was in the same position as me. I roll my eyes and turn back to the boring meeting.

"Now, the moment people have waited for 8 years for has come. We have finally found one. A Watergem." I stiffen at the word, my eyes widening in shock.

Wait, Watergems? I thought they were extinct.

"NICK, JASON AND BRANDON! You will catch the Watergem. ANTHONY, STEVE AND JASPER! You're finding the Firestone. You have until tomorrow to prep."

After Trent lists the two other groups, we are all dismissed to go back to our apartments. I get up and stand right in front of him.

"You're not seriously letting Nick and Jason hunt the Watergem. She'll kill them. Just let me handle it, I've had 3 years more training."

"YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN AND CAN'T DO! YOU REFUSED THIS POSITION! YOU LISTEN TO ME!"

"Fine, but if we lose two more men don't put it on me," I chuckle.

Trent clenches his fists and storms out of the room. I roll my eyes, sigh in frustration and walk out. Once I get into my apartment, I rush to my computer and type Watergems in the search bar. I scroll through briefly, but a few sentences catch my eye.

'Watergems psychic ability to manipulate the flux of the atmosphere with the mind at will.'

'They change the weather patterns and formation of freak weather conditions.'

'Some Watergems have been known to summon wind at there finger tips.'

After a while, I realise there is not a lot information on Watergems and so I relent my search and head to bed. I close my eyes and that's when the nightmares start.

I'm walking through the hallway of my childhood home. I pass my parents room when all of a sudden a burst of cold air hits me and I notice white fog floating out from underneath their door. I reach for the doorknob but it was frozen. Fear washes over me as I think of every horrible possibility that could be happening right now. I bang on the door, screaming for my parents but there was no reply. I run to the kitchen and grab a pan without even thinking. Returning to the door, I try my hardest to break the doorknob off. All I could hear was the sobbing of my father.

"I'm so sorry, it was all my fault," he choked.

Once I break the door open, all I see are my parents dead on the ground. It was so cold, I could hardly walk any further. Patches of frost cover the ground and furniture.

"MUM! DAD! WAKE UP." My screams fade into sobs as I kneel beside their dead bodies.

I wake up in a cold sweat. It's been eight years since that day. I lean over and check the time, it was only 4:18 I still had one more hour before I had to get up. Knowing I couldn't go back to sleep, I decide to go and make breakfast. I ring my men and tell them to meet me at my house at 5:00am.

40 or so minutes later, a knock sounds at my door, and I open it up to Nick and Jason.

"Right on time boys," I smirk.

"Yes, Brandon." They both reply.

They stand in front of me with their hands behind her back.

"So, what's the plan?"
