What was Pops thinking as a terminator? Does he think like a human? Or is it some complicated thing I'll never ever understand? I thought this as Pops drove the truck, and I sat beside him. No one wanted to go with us, since everyone was too dreary. I was too, but I wasn't a cry-baby like the rest were- especially Reese.
"Pops, how long have you known this terminator?" I questioned.
"For a while, now."
"Really?""Yes. He is partly responsible for saving your life when you were changed into a terminator. I'm sure he wouldn't mind sending me back to the past."
I snapped at Pops. "You? I can't go with you? Why am I even here with you, then?""Because I can trust you."
I calmed down when he responded. "Oh... Okay. Sounds good to me."
Hearing that from Pops was pretty awesome. I thought he'd trust Sarah more, but anyway, I'll carry on.
Pops parked the truck by an ocean beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. He exited first, allowing me to follow me. I had no idea what was going to happen next, but I was hoping it didn't involve the Golden Gate Bridge, again. We stood by the edge of the water, looking at the polluted ocean. Pops extended his arm, letting a drop of his liquidly-metal drop in the water. When it hit the mud, the entire ocean changed into steel.
"Pops, what are you doing?!" I asked.
An explosion happened in the steel ocean, and I was lost with what happened next.
