TERMINATOR: Past Mistress [Completed]

     (Pops's POV): I woke up in 1984, in a dark alley. The woman was standing in front of me. She was a pretty woman, I admit, with her blonde hair and blue eyes. She stared at me emotionless, as I sat on the concrete ground on the floor.

     "You failed us." She said.

     "No. Failure is never an option."

     "It is, for you."

     Her hand changed into a gun, and she pointed it at me. "You're weak. You can never defeat me."

     "I can. I was meant to."

     A woman who looks exactly like her throws a lit lighter at her, burning her as she stood.

     "C'mon!" She exclaimed, pulling me up and running.

     "Who are you?" I asked.

     "Cathy! She stole my appearance!"

     She came after us, transforming into a giant snake with the teeth of a shark, instead of fading. I didn't understand how that didn't destroy her. She was supposed to be gone. I fought back by grabbing her by the throat, and slamming her on the wall.

     "Get out." I tell Cathy.

     Cathy followed my orders, and I left the woman behind. Hopefully she stays down. I caught up with Cathy, riding in her red car.

     "Who are you? And what are you?" She asked me as she drove.

     "I don't have a name. But a friend of mine named Sarah Connor calls me 'Pops'."

     Cathy inhaled. "Well, Pops. Can you tell me what the hell is that thing doing?

     "She's sent to destroy us all according to the terminator that sent me here. She has the ability to come back and forth in the past, present and future. After a time-teleporting terminator sent me here, I understood who she is."

     "Wait, she can go anywhere at any time?"

     "Correct. We must stop her. If we don't, Sarah Connor and her family will be in trouble."

     Cathy became confused. "Who's Sarah Connor?"
      "The one I was meant to protect."

     "Oh, you're her bodyguard?"
      "Yes."

     "How long have you been her bodyguard?"

"For a while now. If my memory is correct, it is at least 20 or more years."
