(Randi's POV): I was sitting alone in the kitchen, looking through a photo album that Sarah recently made. It was filled with pictures of recent family moments like my 18th birthday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and all of the other moments that happened last year. Everyone else just did their own thing. Mom and Dad were sitting on the living room couch, watching Die Hard for the 100th time, while Sarah and Reese were by the outdoor pool, laughing about some stupid jokes Reese made.
Oh love... I sighed. Romance was the one thing I hated. I didn't like falling in love for someone (like Reese), because it makes me feel embarrassed for "sucking up" to them. I heard Sarah and Reese scream. I look out the window, finding the same woman.
"What?!" Mom asked, arising from the couch and pointing her gun out the window.
"She's back!"
Sarah and Reese ran inside, grabbing guns. We began shooting at the woman, but she suddenly disappeared.
"Where is she?!" Sarah questioned.
"I don't know!" Dad answered.
The woman grabbed me by my throat, making both of us disappear again. We both appeared in the pool. She held me down as I struggled to fight back.
"RANDI!" Mom screamed, shooting the woman.
I lost my breath, closing my eyes, and letting the last breaths of oxygen come out of my mouth in the form of bubbles. She released me, walking towards my family. Before she got to them, I was going to kick her as I was underwater, but I saw a bullet go through her head.
"Take that!" I heard a familiar voice shout.
She recovered, like she always did, leaping out of the pool and coming for him. I kept down, still faking that I drowned. Thank God I took swimming classes while working for Dad in the army. I heard move gunshots that weren't coming from the house.
"Curtis! Get the hell out of there!" Another familiar voice shouted.
Oh man. He's back. I arouse from the surface, seeing Logan and Curtis back. I knew they needed help. They would be no match for that terminator. I turned to kitchen window of the house. "Guys! Do something, now!"
"Got it!" Dad replied.
They exited the house, firing bullets at the female terminator, even though she would heal. They kept firing till she disappeared, again. Reese lowered his weapon first, while Sarah followed. "Where is she?"
"In the past." Logan answered, coming towards the house with Curtis."The past? How do you know?-" Mom asked, pointing her gun at him.
"Mom! Relax!" I commanded.
"No, Randi. It's fine." Curtis assured, helping me out of the pool.
"Stay away from my kid." Dad ordered, pointing his gun at him.
"STOP! They're safe, alright?" I exclaimed.
"How can we trust them?"
I sighed. "Because, they helped me during the Apocalypse of terminators."Curtis interrupted me by explaining how he knew that the woman was in the past. "Because, we found a man completely made of metal on FOX News this morning. The ocean under the Golden Gate Bridge is completely metal. He said to a news reporter that she was in the past with another terminator."
I widened my eyes. It was Pops. "Pops!"
"What?! He's back in the past?" Sarah snapped.
Great. Sarah was gonna kill me. "Sarah! He had to go!" I exclaimed.
"Why didn't you stop him?!" Reese agreed.
"Because I have no control over a terminator!"
"If you have control over me, you can have control over him!""No. I'm not the biggest tough guy in this family. That's Pops. His plans work, so we can't ruin it."
"So, who are the guys?" Mom asked me again.
"I'm Curtis." He pointed at Logan, whole wrapping an arm around my shoulder. "That's my brother, Logan."
"Pleasure to meet you, ma'am." Logan pretended.
We had to make the house welcome to Logan and Curtis, since we had no idea where the rest of their family members were. I walked back downstairs in a black tee-shirt with a white skull on it with heart eyes, and black pajama shorts. Even though it wasn't pass dinner time yet, I wasn't going to keep that from making me feel comfortable. Curtis stared at me like he was impressed as he sat on a couch beside Logan and Dad. Logan turned away, hiding his smile, but Dad was mad. "Whoa! Go upstairs and change!"
"Dad, you had me strip in front of Reese. What's the difference?" I asked, sitting alone in the black couch."Hey, she's right." Reese agreed.
Mom widened her eyes. "John? You really did that?"
"It wasn't my choice!" Dad lied.
"That's some poor parenting." Logan sighed.
"Okay. Can we stop about the whole time-traveling strip, and get to when that female terminator could come back and kill us?" Sarah suggested.
"Yes! I'm all in!" I exclaimed.
Sarah sighed. "Alright. How long would she stay there in the past with Pops?"
"I'm guessing till Pops kicks her ***.""We don't know when that happens though. We're sitting ducks for her." Reese corrected.
"I get that. But don't we have some way of getting in contact with Pops?"
"No. We can't. Because you couldn't hold him back." Sarah answered.
I was getting mad. "Sarah! I couldn't stop him alight? Because he said he trusted me! I wasn't going to let that go!"
