(Pops's POV): Cathy took me to a small apartment that was on the lowest floor of the apartment complex. It was clean, despite she lived in a poor apartment complex.

When she entered, she laid on the couch, yawning. "I'm tired."
"Get some rest, then. You'll need it."

     "Are you gonna stay awake?"

     "Yes. I will. I promise."
I sat beside her as she laid on the couch, since it was the only couch she had. Her head was on my lap, like she was using my lap as a pillow. It was 5 AM. There were still no signs of the terminator for nearly 6 hours. She returned, standing in front of me.

"You and your friends are doomed." She informed.

"That's what you think." I replied.

"It's what I know. It's true, Pops. You should know that an 18 year old kid, her friends and family, would never stop me. Especially little Sarah Connor."

I grabbed her by the leg, tossing her into the wall. Cathy woke up. She gasped and hugged me close, horrified of the woman. I blushed, getting this, because I never had a woman touch me like that before.

"Pops, what is she doing here?" Cathy panicked.

"Relax." I said, accidently placing a hand around her waist.

The woman changed her hand into a thick and long needle, which she stabbed through my stomach.

     "POPS!" Cathy screamed.

She pulled the needle out, and was coming towards me. Cathy laid beside me, holding me close with tears in her eyes. "Please! Don't hurt us!"

"So much for being a protector." The woman told me, changing both of her hands to guns.

I saved ourselves by changing my legs into arms that stretched out, reaching for her throat. I snapped her neck, slamming her on the ground. My legs returned to their normal form, and I helped Cathy up. "We have to get out of here."

She stared at me in disbelief. "Now?! This is my only home!"
"If we don't leave, she'll kill us."

Bitterly, Cathy agreed. "Okay, we'll go."

(Randi's POV): I was on the back porch, looking at the early morning sky, thinking about Pops. I hope he's alright. As I was fixed on that beautiful sky, I heard the back door open. I thought it would be Reese, Sarah, Mom, or Dad, but it was Curtis.

"What are you here so early?" He asked, standing beside me.

"I'm thinking about Pops." I answered, turning to him.

     "Pops?"

"The terminator. The one sent to protect my grandma, Sarah."

     "Who's Sarah?"

"The brunette dating the curly brown-haired cry-baby."

Curtis raised his eyebrows. "That's your grandma?!"
      "Yeah... Crazy, huh?"

"She just looks like a few years older than you!"
      "Everyone says that."

He laughed, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. "I missed you."
      "Really?"
He nodded. "Yeah! Of course I did! I mean, you're awesome, Randi."

     "You're right I am!" I exclaimed sarcastically.

He laughed while I just giggled. I was surprised he missed me. I thought I would be that crazy slut that cursed a lot, but hearing he missed me is better than being called a slut.
"Thanks. What was it like while I was gone?"

"Quiet and depressing, with Dad going nuts."

     "Old people always do."

     Curtis giggled. "That's true."

He held my hand, and kissed me on the head.

(Pops's POV): I was driving Cathy's car, while Cathy was sleeping beside me. Her head was leaned on my shoulder, and to be honest, it was nice.
