Althea's

D-Day I thought, today was the dreaded day of Pearl and Gab's wedding which has messed with all my plans since January. But then I can't be completely mad about the idea because Batchi's right. Chinese = more demands = more income. That's a good logic right? But then Batchi left out the most important part of the equation. Stress. More Stress.

Anyway, we're already here at the church 2 hours before the families, friends and guests arrived. I spotted the first group of people coming from the Tanchingco Family I don't know all their names but I know who Gabriel was, so it's a good sign he haven't thought of running away from his future demanding wife. Oof! sorry 'bout that.

In the last hour before the wedding starts all the expected guests has arrived and we're only waiting now for the bride, her mom, bride's made and maid of honor. I was inside the church supervising everything, when I heard a call from my communicator an indicator that the bride has entered the building. So I spot check the people who were part of the entourage one by one and found out that the maid of honor was still with the bride. So when all was set I entered the church once again and instructed the choir to start singing the wedding march.

I was on my way to the far back of the church, the entrance to check on Pearl one last time when I caught sight of the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. Well it took a whole minute to register in my mind that she was beautiful because I was stunned, awestruck and dumbfounded. Every inch of her was breathtakingly and almost painfully beautiful. I stopped walking when our eyes met those chocolate brown windows to her soul. It felt like I saw my twin. I felt butterflies in my stomach having a riot, I held my breath and I can't think straight. It was after a few minutes when she was the first one to broke from our eye contact. And I was awaken by Batchi's nonsense blabber on my communicator to get my attention. So I immediately walked without looking back.

It was Pearl's turn to walk when I reached them by the entrance and I told her to just relax and that she's beautiful (Well not as breathtakingly beautiful as her Maid of Honor, I mind you. haha) Anyway, we were left behind with me searching the crowd of people trying to find the maid of honor and when I saw her I just can't get my eyes off her even though all I am seeing was the small of her back, and her side profiles.

"Who are you looking at Althea? You know someone here?" Batchi breaking my sight seeing

"None of your business. Get back to work." I snickered and storm off towards the altar again when the priest finally said that the groom may now kiss the bride and everyone stood up and clapped as instructed.

I was talking to one of my employee when I felt someone staring at me, but then I ignored it just for the thrill of the feeling. I never felt this before and it's inviting. These extreme feelings and all. What could this be? Could this be something I have always hoped for? But as much as I wanted to grasp the idea fully I can't, cause by the looks of it she's already taken by that dude who's holding her hand right now.

**************Reception*************

Same with the wedding ceremony the reception is going smoothly, all as planned. I was at the technical booth when I get to look at her again sitting there on the long table with her mom on her left side and her boyfriend on her right. I know she saw me cause she's not simply looking at me right now she's actually answering my stares with questions I don't know yet but I like it that instant connection like the south and north poles of two magnets no matter what you do you they can always find a way to meet, just like that. I was almost smiling when I felt a hand on my bare shoulder. Batchi.

"Ah dude, just a friendly reminder. Don't ever dream of it, she's straighter than you're ironed hair." She said laughing.

"Don't you start with my Batch. Work." I said brushing her off and walking out again.

"Yes Althea. WORK." She responded; I can feel the roll of her eyes on me even with my back facing her.

After making sure everything was okay I decided to go to the restroom to check on how haggard I look. God knows what I look like after hours of standing. smiling, walking around.

When I pushed the rest room door open I saw a lady crouching and peeking under a cubicle. I can't help but smile because I know it was her.

"Uhh Excuse me? What are you doing there?" I asked. She was taken a back but when she saw me she smiled and whispered

"Lipstick cap." while pointing down the cubicle.

"Let me.." I offered giggling while I bend a bit in front of the cubicle

"Uhmm Excuse me miss? My lipstick cap fell and rolled under your cubicle, can you please just kick it out?"

there was a brief moment before the lady did. I picked it up and gave it to her.

"Here you go." I smiled

"Thank you..." she said waiting for my name

"Althea. I'm Pearl and Gab's wedding coordinator. And you are?"

"Jade. Gab's sister" she said shyly

"You're welcome Jade."

We started a bit of a staring contest again when a cubicle opened up...

"You can take that." I said while I motioned in front of the mirror to check myself. She entered the cubicle took a few moments and then I heard the door unlock she didn't flush or even pee. I smiled at my observation, then I saw her a bit peeking and was surprised to still see me there.

So I walked towards her a bit fast she took a step back I hold her arm lightly which sent a volt of electricity from my hand up to my ears and stopped when our faces are an inch apart.

"Yes?" she whispered.

"Relax." I said smirking and I closed the gap between out lips. It was a quick peck and I saw her eyes widen with shock and anger for being violated which was actually cute. Her lips were soft and enticing.

"What was that for?!" she squealed. I looked her in the eyes with my utmost attempt to look seductive.

"Testing waters." I said smirking and before she could slap me or something I left.
