Umbra is a scrapped Character that I created for OoO. I'll share the scrapped storyline.
Umbra was created through Xylo and Cal.
Storyline V1: After the Tea Party, Xylo and Cal would hang out a little longer then go their separate ways. Xylo would then feel a strange pain in his chest but brush it off. Cal after his chat with Lychee and Ricarro, Khonsu would take him out of the Timeline. After the fight with Loki and all that, Xylo would return back to Camp to receive a much stronger pain in his chest and so he would find a secluded area. Umbra would come out of Xylo's chest similar to how Athena came out of Zeus' forehead just less gruesome. Also as a small shadow figure. Xylo would then raise Umbra in secrecy.
Storyline V2: Umbra would've been from a type of a Shadow-Mirror Dimension where the Shadows is the opposite of the Original. Shadow Xylo and Shadow Cal would create Umbra during the Original Xylo and Cal time at the Tea Party. Just like the Original, Shadow Cal would leave Shadow Xylo with Umbra and abandon them but intentionally. Shadow Xylo would then raise Umbra or that's what you'd think. Shadow Xylo also practically abandoned Umbra which lead to Umbra going to the Original Xylo. Xylo would take him in and raise him as his own in secrecy.
S3 Storyline: Umbra would stay in the shadows of Xylo's Cabin, sometimes he would be Xylo's eyes around the Camp. Inpu is the only one besides Xylo who can see them. Despite this, only Inpu knows about him. During Reverie's time in Xylo's Cabin, Umbra kept himself hidden from Reverie since he was scared of her. Much later after the Villain's Meeting, Umbra would wonder out of Camp and meet Bloodmoon. Bloodmoon would try to kill him to corrupt Xylo but fails since Umbra is much faster than him. Umbra would then stay hidden in Xylo's armor, scared he might get captured by Bloodmoon. During the Romiji wedding, Xylo would take Cal to the side and introduce him to Umbra. Depending on which storyline, Cal would have a different reaction.
Reaction to V1: Cal would be a blushing mess and confused on how he and Xylo had a kid and how Xylo carried Umbra. He would still in any way, help raise Umbra.
Reaction to V2: Cal would be confused and feel remorse to Umbra due to him being abandoned by another version of him. He would try to help raise Umbra in any way he can.
Reason Why Scrapped: Couldn't figure out which Storyline, Gave up on Design, and couldn't figure out what to do with him for any future Storylines
