Damien's Backstory with Yhs Explanation

So since a few of you already guessed what Damien's backstory is reference/continuation of, might as well explain the rewritten parts.

Let's start with Damien but first let me tell you this: He is still my character, I came up with the idea of combining his backstory with Yhs months ago when I rewatched the series.

Anyways, time to explain. Damien is Kai/Senpai just with different name, ethnicity, and appearance. Damien once acted like Kai until he learned Yan-Chan was behind it all. Then it's the Damien you know.

Now let's do Valerie, she is still the same but her name is kinda changed. The original name in Yhs is Valerie Maki which I changed to Akami Aiko. Mainly since L doesn't exist in Japanese pronunciation. The Maki part I changed as well (even though I think it's cute).
Her original name in this rewrite is Akami Aiko, the way she got the name Valerie is make sure her name is easy to speak and she also thought it was cute. Her eyes changed from Pink to Amber. Everything else is the same although her English is more broken than in the actual series. She is more entwined with her culture.

Now Yhs, everything is still the same except for Kai and Valerie. Now the connection between the book and series is basically a continuation of the cancelled series. I guess this would be a good ending if you're on Valerie's and Kai/Senpai's side.
Yan-Chan gets caught, Senpai learns the Truth, she's sent to jail.

That's basically the piece of Damien's backstory but mixed with Yhs. Does it count as a crossover? Yes, yes it does.
