DIES VIARDELLON'S POV
Surprisingly we were complete again in our long dining table. Seth and Tres were here. Sila lang naman dalawa ang madalas wala sa kaharian, idagdag pa ang biglaang pagkawala ni Uno nang mga ilang araw na hindi man lang nagasasabi kung saan nanggagaling.
While Seth was literally in a good mood since he came home as if I could see flowers, butterflies, and sunshine radiating around him, Tres was the complete opposite of him like someone who came from hell with smokes and lightning around him. Iyong mga katabi nila ay kapwa na napapadistansya sa kanila, iyong ayaw ng mga bulaklak at iyong puro itim na usok.
Well, it was just my imagination but I could clearly picture it with my brothers' reaction.
Since both were sitting across from each other, the difference in my brothers' presence was too obvious.
Parang masarap iyong ulam sa plato ni Seth at walang lasa iyong kay Tres. The twin who were sitting beside Seth and Tres eyed each other before they took a portion of food from Seth and Tres' plate in unison. Sabay rin nila iyon isinubo. They took another portion and tossed their fork and caught it at the same time before they ate it again.
Nagtataka pa si Seth lumingon kay Doce pero nagkibit balikat na lang siya at kumain ulit samantalang si Tres ay walang pakialam. The twin raised both their thumbs up confirming that the were indeed the same taste.
May problema talaga ay iyong dalawa kong kapatid.
Uno cleared his throat. "Is there something wrong, Tres?"
He ignored him, took his wine glass, and sipped. "How about I accompany you for a walk. Maybe fresh air would help?" tanong ni Seth na nakangiti.
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at sabay-sabay kaming umiling sa kanya. Seth looked around innocently. Sometimes he was indeed an idiot. Was this because he couldn't even care less now that he was just waiting for his mate?
Dumiin ang titig ni Tres sa kanya. "Fresh air, you say, brother? Should I just punch you?"
Sasawayin na sana sila ni Uno nang mabuksan ang pinto at may humahangos na tagasunod na may dalang papel. Was it the Ancient Quillper?
I saw Tres' face lightened. "A letter from the Human world! Addressed to Prince Seth!"
Agad tumayo si Seth at kinuha iyong liham. Hindi nakatiis iyong iba kong kapatid, maging ako at nakibasa na rin sa likuran ni Seth. We were expecting a message from his mate as Seth excitedly opened it. Pilit pa niyang itinago sa amin pero dahil tuwang-tuwa siya ay hinayaan niya na kaming sumilip.
But his shoulders sagged as he tried to flip the letter as if there was a secret message. "What does it say?"
"Uno!" Seth shrieked in his usual spoiled annoying idiot as he stormed to our eldest brother.
"What does this mean?"
He showed the paper with numeral figures and some details l failed to understand. The only word I remembered was flight,
"Is this how human girls send letters? There's a sign, this is Sullivan, right? And this fingerprint..." Seth took the letter and smelled it. "This is her blood! She must be excited to meet me, brother!"
Seth happily hugged Uno's neck as Uno stared at the paper. "This is a debt."
"Huh?"
"Sinisingil tayo ni Sullivan ng utang."
