"He knows you're not in the room. He can sense your presence disappearing. He will be here soon." Vincent said.
"I know that already, that's why we have to make this quick." Majida looked at her father. She couldn't believe she was meeting him in person. She thought she would never ever in her life encounter her father. But here he is locked up in the dungeon, with these horrific creatures, some of which seem human but looks could be deceiving. Others didn't even try to hide their true selves and how they really look is disturbing. "So what are you? And what is this so called crime you did that causes you to be in this hell hole?"
"Why don't we start with you? I want to know about my daughter that I haven't seen for over ten years."
"See that's the thing you don't look a day over twenty five. I want to know what you are before I can tell you anything."
"Smart girl. I guess it won't hurt for me to give you some answers."
"No you said you'll answer whatever questions I got. So what are you because you are not human? You have fangs." Majida eyed Vincent suspiciously.
"I'm a vampire." Vincent said bluntly. He didn't feel the need to sugarcoat it in any way.
"What?" Majida stares at him. "Vampires don't exist nor do witches, their just myths. Humans are the only intelligent species that walks this earth." Majida should have known this would have been a waste of time.
"You really are that naïve, huh?" Vincent just took a good look at his very sheltered daughter. Her stare seems like she's staring into his soul; knowing all his deep dark secrets. He looks away. "If there are no mythical creatures, than what is the King? Because I know damn well he's not human."
Majida inhale sharply, he has a point there, she thought. "Okay. So if you are a 'vampire' what does that make me, Robbie, and Del?"
"You guys are half breeds. You are also half witch but I wouldn't be surprise if your mother locked up your powers." Vincent rolled his eyes.
Majida sat down crossing her legs. She didn't mind that the floor was dirty, that gave her an excuse to be absent in the King's presence later.
"Start from the beginning." She wanted to know every last detail because what her father is saying isn't making any sense.

Rehema hasn't heard from her daughter yet, it's only been a day since the King took her daughter. She doesn't know how long she can handle it. She's done everything to protect her children from the world, including wiping the memories of her husband from her children's mind.
Since Robbie hadn't transformed she knows he's a witch and soon his powers would be unleash. Rehema was told from her mother that Robbie's power was too powerful to be contained permanently; that once he turns twenty one his powers will return and it will determine whether he is a good witch or an evil one.
She fears the worse, she didn't want to do that to her first born but she had to do what will protect them from danger. She moved away from her family to live among the humans so her children wouldn't know about mythical creatures. She had her mother bound her powers.
Del seems to be human, which shock Rehema most. But then again she could be a vampire like her husband, Vincent.
Rehema misses Vincent everyday but she learned to deal with that in her own way.
She is now forced to live with someone who hates her guts and her children living in the servants' quarters. She couldn't have that, she needs to move away from this place into somewhere more acceptable.
