Hey, I just went to my routine every summer, jog. It’s a little different because I brought with me earlier is my dog Frey. I guess it was the first time that I succeeded in my plan—it was to jog with him and he wouldn’t bother with other stuff in his environment. It’s an achievement really, the last time wasn’t good. He ran and ran and I can’t jog well. My handwriting sucks. I had nothing to do with my day really, so I would bother to write in this new journal of mine. It was given to me by my brother Claude, a birthday gift last Monday. I was surprised because it is seldom for him to give gifts. Anyway, I liked it. It is a new thing for me too. I never wrote my feelings on a piece of paper, I just want to keep it all to myself. As an introduction to you, journal, I would probably introduce myself, I’m Joseph Roxas, 17, and I lived in Manila. I’m an incoming second year college student with a college program of BS Architecture. I guess that’s for now, you would know me eventually because I would write here a lot.
The day was boring. I would ask my father what to do and he would tell me to tidy up my room or clean the house, I don’t like that, I’m lazy. Ha-ha. Okay, it is bad for me because I’m not into something right now and it is summer, very unfortunate. Maybe I should do some research about architecture, nah. I would describe myself more. I was born and raised here in the Philippines , half French. French’s side is my mother’s. My mom and dad met when mom was on a vacation here with her parents, my grandparents. My dad back then was a waiter in a restaurant where they first met. He didn’t notice her before because foreigners in their restaurant are “regular”. So it was just another day for him when mom had their dinner but to my mom it wasn’t. She thought that this man was horrible, no, I’m just messing it up. HA-HA-HA. There was something for her. After that, they met in Rizal Park, my mom was at a tour that time while my dad was just strolling. There my dad noticed her, at last! He convinced the tour guide to be one of them for that day just to see her and be with her. And there she got her address in France and promised her to write to her. And the rest was history. Well, I’m glad that they met because if they didn’t I’m not here. LOL.
Just a thought, what would I be if I became a priest? Or a cardinal?Haha. We just had a new pope, he is Pope Francis and as a Catholic I’m happy and rejoicing! Especially that he likes to reach out to people and enjoys their company. These past days I was intrigued with the papacy and researched about the pope who came down because of his old age, it was Pope Benedict XVI. All I know of him was this, he’s German and he was the predecessor of Pope John Paul II. I was bad, I didn’t thought that he would go down of his place and I don’t like him before. I don’t know, I just don’t feel him at that time. Now I can’t help to compare him with the new pope. The only thing that I could do now is to pray for his health and his wellness as an emeritus pope. I have discovered that he is fond of cats. I was touched by that because it was seldom for a pope to care and have time for animals. And he plays the piano, isn’t that great? I’m a frustrated musician and I adore him for that. I hope that when I get to go to Vatican City I could meet him or just see him in person even if it is yards and yards away. Just an insight about the latest news.

Good morning! I’m in a good mood. I’ll just go out and jog, bye!
I never thought that I could meet a new person in our neighbourhood. Ha-ha. I just bumped a conversation with a jogger a while ago. It was my first time to see her. She is maybe new here. We had a nice talk and she’s pretty. I never thought, okay I can’t continue with my sentence. I’m wearing a weird smile while writing in here. Stupid. Maybe next time I meet her, I should grab some coffee or tea with her. I can’t tell this to my brother he would laugh at me and tease me. Oh, I know, I’ll text my professor.
