Vaughn's P.O.V

Her small lips so close to mine, my hands around her waist, or bodies molded together. "VAUGHN!" Julia tipped the chair over that I was in and I looked up at her from the ground next to the fallen chair. "Don't talk to me." I stood up and walked away from her into the room that belonged to me. The room was like paradise. Black heavy curtains allowed little light into the room with a big comfy black bed and a small desk on the other side and the walls a dark grayish black color. I flew down onto the soft bed and nearly fell asleep immediately. I threw my stetson on the bed side table and took off most of the clothes I had until there was only one layer left. I threw my boots near the door and buried myself in the thick blanket.

The smell of strawberries and honey filled my nose. A wave of brown hair brushed past my eyes.

She turned around and stared into my eyes. "Your eyes are so unique and pretty. And your hair is one of my favorite things about you." She stroked my hair and giggled.

"Chelsea?" Her eyes brightened as she heard her name being called.

Her eyes were becoming a lighter shade of blue until they completely changed into a different color, green. Her hair became shorter and darker turning into a dark red color, her chin was sharper, her nose was long and thin and her mouth was pressed together in a thin line.

I stared at the new face in horror. The new woman's small chuckle rang through my ears. Her hands twitched and a body sat in a chair next to her.

"What's wrong Vaughn." She smiled with an eye twitching. My name echoed but it didn't sound like her voice. More of... a gentle voice, but it sounded strangled.

"Vaughn."

The voice was getting close to my ear. The ground and walls shook and the whole floor vanished in thin air.

Nothing. I saw absolutely nothing as I started falling with the lady waving and a fake smile plastered on her face. It felt as if I was falling through an endless hole.

"Vaughn!" The voice echoed in my head loudly.

Three pairs of eyes met mine, all being a shade of blue. Mirabelle, Julia, and Chelsea looked worried and then sighed with relief.

"Vaughn, you were talking in your sleep, again. But this time we heard a different name. Well Chelsea did." Julia glanced between me and Chelsea until her eyes rested on her.

"Who's Anna?" Her small voice was shy yet filled with curiosity. I tensed at the name and horror flashed through Mirabelle's and Julia's eyes.

"Ch-Chelsea? Can you come with me for just a moment? We need to... bake cookies for the uh... for Elliot!" Julia tugged Chelsea out the room and it looked as if Chelsea was about to protest.

The bed dipped down as Mirabelle sat on the edge. "Listen Vaughn, I know it's hard to deal with what happened and if you ever need anything-" "I'm fine, it's just... nothing. I'm fine." I turned away from her and threw the covers over my head and waited until I felt her get off the bed and the door close.

I removed the blankets and stared at the ceiling.

I'll return one day, and it won't be pretty either.

Her words echoed in my mind and left me in a deep silence. I couldn't even hear what was going on downstairs.

So I apologize when I said I was going to update the same day I posted the other chapter. I ended up getting busy and then I felt lazy and a little stressed about all the homework I started getting. Anyways, I know this chapter isn't much but it'll get better. Trust me on that
