If there was one thing Ishan hated more than exams, it was group projects.
And if there was one thing more than group projects, it
was being paired with Mr. Perfect himself, yeah no other the Shubman Gill.
Mayank and ishan was sitting inside ishan's dorm while ishan was complaining.
Ishan : bhai it's not fair!!
Ishan : Professor jaan boojh ke mujhe Shubman ke saath pair kiya hai! Matlab punishment hai yeh?
Mayank : Punishment? Or prashad? I mean, you get to spend extra time with him.
Ishan : oo bhai, Tu aur tera Abhishek kuch zyada hi pareshan kar rhe ho mujhe aaj kal. Mujhe bewakoof mat samajhna
Mayank : kya Matlab?
Ishan : Don’t act dumb. I know you two are plotting something. Last time bhi zabardasti mujhe uske saath café le gaye. Aur ab yeh project?
Mayank just hummed in response, scrolling on his phone.
Meanwhile, Ishan dramatically rolled onto his stomach and groaned into his pillow.
Ishan : Bas bhagwaan, yeh Shubman mujhe maar hi na dale
he mumbled.

It was the Project Meeting as expected the Chaos Begins
At the library, Ishan and Shubman sat across from each other.
The table was neatly arranged- thanks to Shubman.
Ishan, on the other hand, had already spilled his iced coffee on his notebook.
Shubman : Ishan, for the love of God, ek jagah shaant baith sakta hai kya?
Ishan : Nahi. Agli stupid question?
Shubman just stared at him, expression unreadable.
Shubman : How do you even function?
Ishan : Bhai ka talent hai!
Shubman : Okay, listen. We divide the work. I’ll do the research and structuring, and you-
Ishan : I’ll do the creativity part!
Shubman gave him a blank stare.
Shubman : It’s a finance project.
Ishan : Oh.
A pause.
Ishan : Toh?
Shubman looked like he wanted to throw something.
Abhishek and Mayank, who were definitely spying from behind the bookshelf, exchanged amused glances.
Mayank : *whisper* Abhi, tujhe lagta hai Shubman kab tak control karega?
Abhishek : Mujhe toh lagta hai, control karna hi nahi chahta.
An Unexpected Moment
After an hour of Ishan being Ishan and Shubman trying not to lose his patience, they took a break.
