TAEHYUNG

Taehyung spent the rest of the week moving into his new place and getting furniture. The lease was signed rather quickly.

Namjoon, Jimin and Yoongi all helped him move in. And Namjoon called Jin along, though he seemed timid around Taehyung.

This was the first time he saw the amount of bruises on Taehyung. which struck him as odd. He didn't say anything.

Finally, Taehyung sat painting on the floor of his studio apartment. It had high ceilings and big windows that overlooked the river.

He painted the river, obviously planning to enter it into his next art competition. The art teacher had given him a list of ongoing competitions and Taehyung planned to enter into at least a few.

Music played in the background and suddenly one of JKs songs came on, an old album Taehyung hadn't listened to yet. But an idea struck him, he hadn't watched an interview of Bunny.

He turned on his TV and searched one up on YouTube. He found one about 'I hope you see this'

The announcer was a woman with a big smile. "Today on the Blue Side show: JK! everyone knows him, everyone loves him. But now everyone sees him! How are you doing today, JK?" the woman turned towards a screen set where the normal interview couch would normally be.

A faceless picture of bunny stood on the screen. The cover for the album. A little voice box lit up as he spoke.

"I]m doing well! Thank you, and how are you Ms. Hwang?"

The woman smiles from her desk. "I'm doing well. Now, first question. What inspired this album? Everyone is so

curious." She leans closer to the screen.

Taehyung wanted to hear him talk again. He missed that voice.

"Well, a lot of things as always. People I meet, things I see." The boy answered vaguely with a chuckle.

"And what have you seen in the past months?"

"People, I made some new friends I saw a lot of new places. I like Daegu. but we'll see if I go back." He could hear Bunny smiling from the other side of the screen.

"Of course, and why did you post it the way you did? There was no promotional videos or anything. It's very sudden." Ms. Hwang asks.

"Well, I just got so swallowed up in creativity, I found a new muse. I guess you could say. And—I just had to. I knew my fans would love it just as much as I do, so I just posted it."

"What did BIGHIT think of this?"

"Oh—" Bunny laughed. "They weren't too happy in the beginning. A person of my stature won't get in that kind of trouble. And, they like it now."

It makes Ms. Hwang smile as she messes with her papers. Taehyung also smiled, knowing he was the reason behind it. "Oh of course. Can we ask you to explain some types of lyrics?"

"Yeah of course. I've been waiting for this." Bunny says eagerly.

"Who is the 'Brown eyed boy'?" She asks bluntly. It seems to surprise Bunny and stun him for a second.

"Oh, well—"

"Sorry I didn't finish, tying into this song, your fans have been curious if you're any kind of bisexual or part of the LGBTQ community."

"Ah." Bunny doesn't sound so happy now. "Well, that brown eyed boy is someone very dear to me. And I'd like to keep my sexuality private, if you'd allow me."

Ms. Hwang frowns. This was not the answer she was looking for whatsoever. Taehyung saw her glance at the director before continuing. "Sure. Now, can you explain this album cover? Why doesn't it have your face in it?"

"Well, the idea is looking through a window or mirror, looking back at what you've learned and seen if that makes any sense towards the picture. (y'all i'm pulling this out of my ass forgive me) And my face isn't in it because my face isn't needed." His tone has switched to something cold that he hadn't heard from the man before.

He continued, "I don't need my face in my art, do I? All I need is my voice. I think it allows the listener to focus on me and my soul rather than me and my face." JK stops.

"Ah of course." Ms. Hwang still wasn't getting the answers she wanted. "Will we be getting a tour?"

"Did you listen to what I just said?" Bunny recomposed himself. "Maybe. I don't think so though."

"As I expected. Will you ever show your face?"

Bunny seems to be exasperated at this point. "Ms. Hwang, this interview is over thank you."

The video cuts and Taehyung realized he had stopped painting. He texts bunny.

BUNNY

TIGER: I miss you

TIGER: are you in Daegu?

BUNNY: I'm not. I'm sorry. I miss you too.

Tae was sobbing on the floor. Bunny had stopped responding to his messages and Taehyung was left empty. His thighs burned, and his heart ached. They always left. Every. Last. One of them. The door clicked.

Yoongi walked into the room. "Oh my god, Tae! Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?" He pulled the paint stained boy into his arms.

That wasn't Taehyung's problem. He'd been in denial for so long. Sure, Bunny was gone.

He would come back, right? Right?

It hit Taehyung like the ocean, he wasn't coming back.

Yoongi really couldn't tell what was wrong but held him. "Come on let's go to bed Tae..." Taehyung let him go to bed and let himself shudder to sleep.--
