CHAPTER 8

Chay woke up in bed next to Vegas. He had a very bad headache due to hangover. He remembered he had a few drinks before he passed out the previous night.

"Hoyy,why did I drink on weekday?I have to go to school now," he murmured,taking a look at his phone.

A text popped up:

Unknown:Don't forget to take medicine.I kept it in your left drawer.

Chay:Who is this?

Unknown:Kim ;)

"How did he even get my number?How did he put the medicine here?"Chay wondered as he scratched his head.The headache was killing him.

"Honey..."Vegas called in a low voice.
Chay was startled and dropped his phone,"Mhm? You're awake!"
Vegas pulled him into a passionate kiss and whispered a good morning in his ear.Chay's cheeks flushed and he jumped off the bed to prepare for school.

Chay walked into the school.He for sure knew Cau wouldn't mind skipping school so he was all alone.He couldn't afford to miss classes even for a day.
As soon as he walked in, whispers were heard around him.He didn't know what they were talking about,but by their looks,it was about him.

Students shot him dirty and disguisted looks as if he were some criminal.

He ran to his class and as soon as he did, everyone went quiet.They gave him the same looks.He was perplexed.
"What,you disguisting fag!Are you trying to pretend you didn't hook up with an old hag in the bar last night?"Sean, one of his classmates started.

"What?What are you talking about?"Chay was confused,"I didn't ---"
"You didn't? Then explain this video "

He showed him a video of Vegas and him making out in the bathroom.The one who took the video had made sure that Vegas' face wasn't seen.It was as if he aimed at Porchay,to destroy him completely.It was him,he couldn't deny it.And that was Vegas in the video,and that gave him a little relief.

He slowly looked up from the video to Sean."That's my boyfriend and he is no old hag"

"So what?That doesn't change the fact that you're a disguisting fag.I gave you respect because you were this quiet,smart and innocent boy who wouldn't do any shit.Now,to me, you're just a piece of trash to me."

Porchay felt wronged.Was it wrong to love someone?'I thought love doesn't matter the gender.'

Running away showed cowardice.

He turned to his deskmate and friend,Milk,but she shook her head and left him.Nothing to say.

He took his bag and left.His locker was stuck with lots of sticky notes, telling him how disguisting he was.Soon,he found himself in the middle of a crowd of students,,all throwing trash at him.

He felt anger build up in his throat and screamed,"Y'all are fake!I hate you,fuckers!"

With that, he pushed his way out of the crowd and ran off, tears streaming down his face.He couldn't believe his friends dumped him like that for being in love with another man.He wanted comfort.He wanted a hug,a very tight hug from Vegas.

Suddenly,he bumped into Kim."What is it?" Or Kim.Porchay burst into tears and buried himself into Kim's chest, inhaling his cologne."I want to die! I really want to die Kim.I don't want to go to school anymore"
Kim rubbed his back in a soothing way,"What happened?"

Chay sat on the bed next to Kim in silence."Tell me."
"Kim,they all hate me now."
"Who?"
"Everyone in school.They find me disguisting because... because... because I'm... I'm gay.Someone took a video of me and Vegas last night and posted it on the school group chat.They bullied me and insulted me..I can't take it anymore.I want to drop out or die"

Kim felt infuriated by those school students."Chayy,consider that we love you no matter what.Don't let them put you down,love is love.It doesn't matter who you love,whether male or female, it's okay.I love you Chay."

"Thanks Kim.Wait,what?You...love me?"

Kim found this hard to say but he did it anyway.Chay felt butterflies and his cheeks flushed.He got up and ran away,with a reason to find Vegas.
