I woke up in a place I was growing very close to.

Joey's bed.

I was at the edge of what was slowly becoming "my side of the bed". I turned over to my left side and saw Joey with his eyes shut. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in closer to him.

"Jo "

He groaned.

" What "

I pulled back so I could see his face. He tightened his grip around me and opened his eyes.

" Wakeup " I said. He chuckled and lowered his hands to my butt. He gently gave my butt a squeeze and gave me a puzzled look.

" Yo ass feel fatter. Who been pumpin' you up cause I know it ain't me? " He said. I laughed and slapped his arm.

"It's called squats. You're ignorant. " I said. He gave me a kiss on my forehead and sat at the edge of the bed. I sat up and crawled out the bed. I walked over to him and sat on his lap.

" You look cute in my clothes. " He said and then smirked. I was in nothing but my panties and one of his plain white t-shirts.

" Thanks " I smiled. Joey grabbed my hands and kissed them.

" Go on a date with me babygirl " Joey said. My cheeks grew hot and I grinned.

" What? " I said.

" You heard me. Go on a date with me. I'm tired of this whole friends with benefits thing. I like you. Scratch that I really like you. I've given you time from your breakup. But i'm tired of waiting now. So go on a date with me. " He said, still holding my hands.

I thought about it for a moment. He was right. I like him. It wouldn't hurt to try.

" Okay. " I smiled. He smiled and threw me over his shoulder. He stood up and carried me to the kitchen. He sat me on the counter and stood in between my legs.

" What I'm eating for breakfast? " He said.

" Me. " I challenged. He slapped my thigh and laughed.

" Don't tempt me girl. " He said. I gave him a peck and hopped down off the counter.

" Let's go to my shop. And i'll get us food on the way there " I suggested. He nodded and walked me to the door.

" I'll see you in like half in hour. " I said. He bent down and kissed my forehead.

" Alright munchkin . " He said.

Once we pulled into the shop , I noticed 3 unfamiliar cars indicating that we already had customers. I smiled and walked into the shop hand and hand with Joey.

" Hellooo " I smiled. Vicky and Gio turned around to see Joey and I.

" Hey Al ! Hey Joey ! " Vicky said.

" Boss lady. Jooee.  What's poppin." Gio said in the middle of  a tattoo. I looked over and saw 2 other painters and waved to them.

" Hey yall. Whats going on? " I said.

" Not much. We've done one piercing, and this is the first tat. " Gio reported. I nodded and took a seat while Joey went to go get some music playing.
