A Real Love Story?

Chapter 1:

Loud bangs on my door woke me up. I sighed and got out of my rock hard bed. I got up and got dressed. I decided on a grey flowy top and jeans. I put little makeup on and left my tiny apartment.

"Slut!!" I heard someone yell. I looked over to see Jackson Manson and his girlfriend Janine Sullivan speed by in his fancy sports car. I sighed and shook my head and kept on walking.

Once I finally got to school I went straight to the library. I sorted some books, not that it matters. No one comes into the library but me. It's completely empty. Just me and the books. It was my safe place.

The bell rang and I was the first one to class. "Morning Raven" my teacher Mrs. Magic said. I smiled, "good morning Mrs. Magic". I took my seat in the back and she handed me my assignment for this morning.

Class begun and I was finished about 15 minutes into class. Mrs. Magic dismissed me and I scurried off to the library. I got out my key and unlocked it. I walked in and locked the door behind me.

I sorted some books and then decided to do some decorating. I cleaned up and when the bell rang I sat down. Free period. I didn't get much sleep so I took a nap. I only slept for 15 minutes. I had to go to the bathroom so I let myself out of the library.

I was almost to the bathroom unnoticed but suddenly someone knocked into me. I fell to the ground. "Ouch" I said pressing my temples. "Oh god. I'm really sorry a about that. Here. Let me help you up" a voice like silk said.

I looked up and saw a boy. He had piercing green/blue eyes, and brown hair. He was gorgeous. No, no no Raven you can't think like that. He holds out his hand and I gently take it. He pulls me up and just like the klutz I am, I trip. He quickly puts his foot back and puts an arm around my waist to keep us from falling.

"I am so sorry" I said quickly. I was probably bright red. He chuckled, "it's alright. Listen, um I'm new here. Would you mind showing me to Mr. Deals room? Oh and I'm Adam. By the way".

"S-sure. I'm, uh I'm Raven" I said. I quickly turned around and walked towards Mr. Deals room. "Are you alright?" He asked grabbing my hand. I looked up at him shocked. I nodded. "Are you sure about that? You're not acting ok" he asked.

"For all you know this could just be my personality. " I said not meeting his eyes. He put a finger on my chin so I had to look at him. "I don't think so... Thanks. I'll see you around"he said. I quickly walked to the bathroom then walked to the library.

When the bell rang I slowly walked to my next class. I sat down at my lonely seat in the back and started reading my assignment. I was surprised when someone sat next to me. No one ever sat next to me. I cautiously looked up to see who it was.

Him. It was him. Great. "Hello again" he said quietly. I looked over at him with a look that said 'are you insane?!'. Adam shrugged. "So listen. I've been at this school for 2 hours and I've heard a lot about you. Why are you the talk of the school? Is what they're saying true?" He said. I looked at him and narrowed my eyes. "Why do you care" I asked.

Adam shrugged, "you're the first person I met here and from what they were saying, it just didn't seem like you". I looked at him. I was a little angry. "You don't know me. You don't know anything about me" I said. I quickly finished my assignment and left the class. Thank god our teachers let us leave if we finish early.

He finished soon after me, but I got out of the room fast enough. Unfortunately, I had to go across campus to get to the library so I went to the one other place that no one could bother me. The girls bathroom. Adam chuckled and I gasped when he came in the GIRLS bathroom. "What? You didn't think I would follow you?" He said.

I looked away from him. "Can you just leave me alone? Besides, if you hang around me, everyone will hate you" I said. "You seem interesting.... I wanna get to know you. And besides. I'm already captain of the football team" Adam said and shrugged at the end.

I looked at him. I rolled my eyes and shoved past him. I walk out of the bathroom and walk towards the library. I'm hoping he'll give up and then never talk to me again.he followed me all the way to the library.

"I'm not going to stop until you talk to me" Adam said walking behind me. I got out my keys and unlocked the library. He started to come in after me. "You can't come in" I blurted.

He looked at me confused. I sighed, "I'm the only one allowed in the library because I'm fixing it up". A smile appeared on his face. "I can help you!" He said with excitement. I shook my head, "I'm doing it by myself".

"I'm sure there's some heavy things you could use some help with." Adam said. I rolled my eyes. "I'm stronger than you think." I said. "Is there a reason for that?" He asked. I shook my head.

I start to shut the door on him and he quickly speaks, "Please Raven!! I just wanna get to know you!". " no you don't." I said and shut the door. I locked it and his face became sad.

I wanted to turn around and let him in but I knew I couldn't. And I didn't. I walked to the back of the library and took down the old posters. I cleaned up and then sat down. It's been a strange day...

I am so sorry my baby alpacas!!!! I know I haven't been updating as much as I've wanted to. Thank you so much for being so patient with me. I know it can be hard. I've started school so I'm very busy, as you can imagine. School Monday-Saturday from 8 am-7 pm can keep a girl busy. Thanks guys!! Love ya, Rose
