It had been two days since we've moved in. You could say that I was adjusting to the new house, seeing that I haven't left it. I've been in my room most of the time, my excuse was unpacking, even though that had finished yesterday. Today is Monday, which means that it's the day the contracts get signed. I was actually looking forward to this day, mostly because I don't like surprises and I wanted to know who this band my dad has been talking nonstop about. He's so excited to be managing them and keeps telling everyone how talented they are and how much everyone will love them and all this other stuff I kind of blocked out.

During the day, as usual, I hung out in my room or out on my balcony getting a tan. I didn't like to step out of my room because my mom would tell me to go on a walk and make new friends. But that's the thing, I didn't want new friends. I want my old friends. How was that so hard to understand?

By 3:30pm my dad had walked through the front door, a smile wide on his aged face. He yelled up to Bentley and I to come down stairs, he had to talk to us about the band, contract, and how his schedule would be like. Sluggishly I got out of my desk chair telling Spencer that I'll be back so we can finish talking through video chat. I had reached the kitchen and sat down at my original chair I normally sit at. Bentley was already sat down in the chair across from me, and my mom to my left, and my dad seated to my right.

"I wanted to talk to you guys about the band I'm managing." My father announced. We nodded, signaling him to go on.

"Their name of the band is called 'The Boyle Brothers' they are a band for four brothers, named Jake, the oldest, he's 21, Jesse, Jared, who are twins that are 20, and Jeffrey who is 17. They are really hard working and already have a fan base, a fan base that is big enough to get them even further. They just need to get the gigs which shouldn't be hard. Every Monday night from 5pm to 6pm they will be using a live stream to interact with their fans, so I will not be attending dinner on those nights. Also, every other event they have, I will be traveling with them, if they are on the weekends, or not disturbing any ones schedule anyone is welcome to come, but have to keep it low key. The boys are not allowed to have girlfriends, or publicly announce that they do." My dad shot me a stern look referring back to my past without really saying anything, I rolled my eyes at him as he continued his explanation.

"The reason behind this is they aren't as famous, so keeping this out of public will attract more people into listening and liking their group. The guys are very social with their fans and a lot would be devastated if they found out if any of them were actually seeing someone. When school starts again, and I'm away, you are to listen and obey your mother as you would. There are a few events coming up throughout this summer, as they come, you are able to go, you're going to have to let me know in advance. The last thing is, they are also our neighbors. That being said, we are going to go over there now to meet the band. You have five minutes to get ready." After my dad had finished I sat there wide eyed.

I'm still in my pajamas, and I had five minutes to try and look good to impress them? This will not go over well. I ran upstairs plugging in my hair straightener and darting to my room to pull on the first pair of jean shorts I could find and a blue faded into green tank top. After slipping on white flip flops I ran back into the bathroom applying mascara and straightening my hair as fast as possible.

"Logan, 30 seconds," my dad warned at the bottom of the stairs. I finished the last strand of hair and ripped the plug out of the wall and trampled down the stairs to meet everyone at the door.

"Perfect timing," I smiled at my dad a little bit too cheekily. He sighed with an eye roll added into it. I was used to this. That's how my dads and my relationship works. We piss each other off, but get along. We know how to push each others buttons, but we know how to work well with each other.

"Just please, don't pull anything over there." My dad reasoned while shutting the door behind him.

"I can't make any promises." I shot back, my past history flooding my mind. Most of the bands that my dad has managed where boy bands, but who ever he was managing I always tried to become friends with them, and become partners in crime or if it happens to be a guy, I would end up dating them, depending on how much of a dick I thought they were. If I thought they were complete douche bags I would make sure they knew I didn't like them. Which then prevented me going near them and my dad finding a new artist to manage. In my defense, I would only be helping his career from helping people who don't deserve the fame.

Being pulled from my thoughts was the sound of a group of guys greeting us. I looked up noticing four, tall, blonde, skinny, decent looking boys.

"This should be fun," I smugly thought as I entered the house.
