That night I tossed and turned. I couldn't sleep my mind was acting like a non stop tape. I kept seeing visions of Mercedes gone and not coming back. Guilt fought with me each time I tried to sleep and it was winning. I woke up in the middle of the night to find Mercedes not laying next to me.I looked at the clock and it was 4 in the morning. I searched the house but she was no where to be found. I went into Erin's room to see if she left me and took Erin but Erin was in her bed fast asleep. I saw that my car keys weren't in their normal place. I looked out the window to see if my car was outside. But my 64 was gone. My mind began to race. Just then my phone rang.
"Hello?" I said
"YO EAZY TURN ON CHANNEL 8 !" Ren yelled on the phone
I turned the TV on to channel 8. What I saw made my jaw drop. I turned the TV up. As the news reporter talked.
"This $900,000 mansion that belongs to rapper Eazy-E was set on fire about 3 am this morning no one knows how the blaze started but fire fighters are having a hard time trying to put the blaze out there was no one found inside..."
"What the fuck?" I said still holding the phone
"Yo what the fuck happened man?"
"I don't know I been here all night since I left the studio" I said sitting on the couch
Just then Mercedes walks through the door with her black leggings, jordans, and her black hoodie that said Ruthless Records on it.
"Ren let me call you back" I said hanging up
"Did you do that?" I said pointing to the TV
"Yes I did..."
"Why?"
"I was pissed and I still am fuck that house !" she said watching it burn on the TV.
"Your fuckin crazy"
"You made me this way Eric" she said walking into the bedroom
She went into the closet and got her duffle bag and started filling it with clothes.
"What are you doing?" I said coming into the bedroom
"I'm leaving you Eric I don't have to stay with a man that lies and cheats" she said
"Your not leaving me"
"yes the fuck I am"
"YOUR NOT KEEPING MY DAUGHTER AND MY UNBORN CHILD FROM ME!" I said starting to get mad
"Would you shut the fuck up before you wake Erin"
I sighed and lowered my voice
"Mercedes I love you and I want to make this work I had a dream that I was losing you I want to do right by you baby I know I fucked up and I want to make it right you burning down that mansion was probably the best thing to happen to me"
"So you mean to tell me it took me burning down a fucking house....burning up our hard earned bread for you to realize you had a true ride or die chick that was down for you???" she said getting in my face
"No babe I knew you were there for me since we met I'm never gonna stop loving you"
"Hmmm you wasn't thinking that when you was fuckin them bitches now were you?" she said picking up her duffle bag and going into Erin's room. I followed behind her.She turned on the light and started packing up Erin's things. Erin woke up rubbing her eyes to the sound of the commotion
"Mommy where are we going?" she said sounding sleepy
"We're going to go see grandma how's that sound?" she said still packing up Erin's stuff
"Yayyyy grandma !"
"Baby please don't do this" I begged with my eyes filling with tears
I got on my knees and begged her not to go. I held on to her right leg crying and begging.
"Get the fuck off me!" she said pushing my forehead making me fall back
"Baby please don't go I'm so sorry"
"Fuck you Eric! you want them hoes then you can have them!" she said grabbing Erin by her hand. Erin started to cry at the sight of me crying
"Don't cry daddy" she said crying
Mercedes grabbed the keys and left out the door. At that moment I knew I let my family slip through my hands. I'm left alone in this big house with tears in my eyes I lost a good woman because I don't know how to keep my dick in my pants.
