Chapter 18

Isabelle POV:
"omg did you see the new kid! he is hot as hell!" i heard a girl passing by say.

i rolled my eyes. cammie and jax had gone to their homeroom already and i was standing with tori at my locker. all i've been hearing since harry arrived was girls obsessing over him.

"omg yes! i cant wait to talk to him. i think we have homeroom together." the girl said back to her friend.

i rolled my eyes harder again, scared they would fall out.

"don't worry about it Is." i suddenly heard tori say.

i whipped my head towards her then gave her a questioning look.

"worry about what? im not worried." i said casually.

she rolled her eyes. hey that's my thing! i thought to myself.

"i see the way you're looking at everybody walking by us that even mentions harry." she pointed out.

i looked at her in a dumbfounded way hoping she'd give up trying to talk to me about, him.

"clearly you're irritated by the amount of attention harry is getting. but you shouldn't worry! i saw the way you guys laughed and talked to each other at Nate's party when i first met him. you guys have a real connection! he likes you and only you. i can tell." she said.

i sighed. maybe she's right. maybe i was just being paranoid. besides, even if he did end up choosing any of the sluts here i wouldn't care. i don't even like harry.

still in denial i see

oh shut up brain!

"what?" tori said.

shit i said that out loud. "oh no sorry i was.... errr.... talking to my conscious?"

she let out a small chuckle. "oh. well don't be embarrassed i do that too sometimes."

i smiled at her. "c'mom we should head to homeroom now." tori said as the bell rang. "and remember, everything is gonna be alright with harry." she said with a smile.

i smiled. she was right. everything will be fine. and i followed her to homeroom.

A/N: ayyeee. so next chapter there is a time jump so yeah. it's gonna be 4 months later so they just came back to school from winter break and there is about 3 months left of school.
