Rose's dress on the side!! im in love with it

_____

The next two days consisted of waking up super early to start the day full of meetings and a few shoots. I hadn't seen the boys at all in the morning in those two days, since they were always sleeping in. It was good though, because I had some peace and quiet in the condo before heading out onto the noisy streets.

The weather today was unexpectedly warm, as the heels of my Jeffrey Campbell booties clicked against the cement. I hopped into my car, ready to head out.

Today was Saturday—which is the day of the gala, meaning I had to get ready for a final fitting in my dress at Romona's office.

I grabbed my cup of iced coffee, sipping the cool beverage while sitting in morning traffic. I yawned loudly, still feeling exhausted, and checked the time—9:37 AM. My phone buzzed in the cup holder, and I saw a text from Charlie.

Char 😈💋: Hey babe! At the salon already, where are you?

Ro: Stuck in traffic :( Be there soon!!

Char 😈💋: Alright, I'll tell your stylist. See you soon x.

Ro: See you xx

The cars in front of me moved, and soon enough, I was close to the salon. I made a left turn, seeing it's parking lot and pulling in. After getting a parking space, I hopped out and jogged to the doors, yanking them open.

"Woah, girl. Relax, you're alright," My stylist, Kassandra, laughed. I sighed in relief, taking a seat in the chair. I turned to face Charlie, who had foil pieces in her hair.

"Highlights, again?" I pursed my lips at her.

She waved her hand at me, "Okay, I got them done so long ago, Ro. I needed a touch up!"

"Oh Charlie, always exaggerating. It was just 3 months ago."

"Whatever, Ro." She rolled her eyes, a smile on her face.

The process on my hair was not as long as Charlie's, since she decided to re-do her highlights. My hair, as an end result, was pulled back with a little bit of moose and left pin straight. And as for my makeup, it was left natural, but with a bright red lip to add a pop of color. I looked at myself in the mirror, very satisfied with Kass's work.

"Thank you, again, Kass! You always know what I want," I hugged her as Charlie and I finished paying.

"No problem, babe! Do you have red lipstick with you?" Kassandra furrowed her brows.

"Oh shit, no I don't," I mentally face palmed myself.

"Here," She giggled. "It's on me. Don't forget to touch up!"

"I will, thanks so much! See you soon, Kass." Charlie and I flew out the doors of the salon and into our cars, headed to Romona's. She had gotten her fitting the day after mine, and I was sad I couldn't be there to see how she looked.

I checked the time—10:58 AM and was relieved at how much time I had left. After the fitting, I could sit and relax before the gala at 5 PM.

Charlie trailed right behind me, and soon enough, we pulled up to Romona's building. The receptionist welcomed us in, and we smiled, heading into the elevator.

The doors opened with a little 'ding' and there hung the bright red dress to match my lips. An elegant, white, deep v-neck jumpsuit hung beside it, which I assumed was Charlie's.

"Ah, there you girls are! We need to make sure your outfits are snug, so there won't be any wardrobe malfunctions," Romona giggled. Char and I laughed, getting ushered into our fitting rooms.
