“I am obligated to advise you that this task should not and will not be taken lightly.”
“But why send both of us, sir?”
“Poneron knows what is best. Do not question his authority or decisions. This job that you are sent out to do is not simple. There are more than a billion females out there, and you need to locate just one.”
“If you don’t mind me asking, what if she refuses to come with us?”
“Refuse? Knowing you two the word will not even cross her little feminine mind. But if you doubt your skills, I am more than happy to make Poneron aware.”
“No!”
“There is no need for that. We will carry out our master’s orders without hesitation.”
“Or disappointment.”
“Very well then. You two are to set out as soon as possible. You must find the girl and bring her back. Alive. Understand?”
“Yes.”
“Of course. Poneron will receive what he has asked for. We are not known to let him down. We will find the girl, seduce her, and bring her back here no problem. You can tell Poneron to expect this girl in no time.”
“I will make him aware. You better hope this little fantasy of yours promptly becomes reality. If there is one thing Poneron lacks, it is patience.”
