The wedding was a grand affair, filled with laughter, music, and the soft glow of candlelight that danced around the elegantly decorated hall. Guests mingled, their voices a harmonious blend of joy and celebration, but in the midst of it all, Noeul felt an unsettling weight pressing down on him. As he stood facing his boss at the altar, his heart raced—not from excitement, but from fear.
"I won't marry you," Noeul mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper. The words hung in the air like a fragile glass ornament, waiting to shatter.
His boss leaned closer, his breath warm against Noeul's ear. "I heard you have a dad... do you want to risk his life like your sister?" The threat was subtle yet unmistakable, sending a chill down Noeul's spine. He had never considered the ramifications of defiance until now.
Shocked and trembling, Noeul's eyes widened as tears threatened to spill over. The priest's voice faded into the background as he struggled to process the ultimatum. "Say yes, or else..." The words echoed in his mind, drowning out the joy surrounding them.
With a heavy heart, Noeul wiped away a tear and forced himself to respond. "Yes... I do." The words felt like poison on his tongue, but he knew he had no choice.
As they sealed their vows with a kiss, Noeul whispered defiantly, "If you kiss me, I'll bite your lips." A smirk played on his boss's face, an expression that sent shivers down Noeul's spine. The kiss was brief—a mere peck—but it ignited a fire within Noeul that he had long suppressed.
Cheers erupted around them, congratulating the newlyweds as they stepped into their new life together. But as they climbed into the waiting limousine, Noeul leaned against the window, overwhelmed by fear and confusion. He sniffled quietly, trying to compose himself while avoiding his boss's gaze.
"Can we talk?" his boss asked gently.
"I don't want to talk to you," Noeul snapped, shutting down any further conversation. Silence enveloped them until they reached the mansion, where Noeul’s anxiety only deepened.
As they arrived, his boss exited the car and walked around to Noeul’s side, but in a panic, Noeul locked the door from the inside.
“Open the door, Noeul,” his boss groaned, frustration lacing his voice.
“No! I won’t!” Noeul cried, tears spilling down his cheeks as he fought to control his emotions.
With a resigned sigh, his boss pulled out his keys and unlocked the door. In one swift motion, he hoisted Noeul onto his shoulder despite the desperate protests and feeble punches aimed at his back.
“Let me down!” Noeul shouted through tears as they entered the mansion.
He was carried into the bedroom and set down gently. “Go freshen up; I have some work to take care of,” his boss said, trying to maintain an air of calm.
Noeul stumbled into the restroom, feeling an unfamiliar heat building within him—an undeniable sign that he was an omega in need of his alpha. Panic surged through him as he realized he had forgotten his supplements to control his heat.
Moments later, when his boss returned and found Noeul still in the bathroom, he banged on the door. “Come out or I’ll break this damn door!”
Noeul sighed heavily and stepped out, but before he could say anything, he surged forward and kissed him fiercely. His boss stood there, dumbfounded and shocked by the sudden display of affection.
“Noeul…” he began, but Noeul interrupted him.
“Buy me supplements,” he demanded breathlessly. “I’ll never sleep with you.”
