Omniscient pov
Beyoncé sat at the corner table of the small coffee shop, a box of colored pencils scattered across the wooden surface. In front of her was a sketchbook, filled with half-colored faces of people she didn't know. Maybe she had known them once, but that was the problem—she couldn't remember.
Every day was a reset. Some faces in her life stayed longer than others, but eventually, they all faded away. It made it nearly impossible to make friends. Who would want to be around someone who'd forget them by morning?
That was when Kelly walked in.
She took a seat at the table relatively close to Beyonce not letting her eyes leave the blonde. She's so beautiful she thought.
Then a man cleared his throat, it was the waiter waiting for her to give him her order. "Hello miss, what can I- oh" he gave a short chuckle noticing the woman staring at the blonde. "Don't do it"
"Huh?" Kelly eyes finally met his.
"She's not gonna remember you in the morning...it's best if you just leave her alone" he shook his head. "But what would you like?"
"American tea please"
The waiter hummed walking to the kitchen. Kelly got up going to approach the woman, she didn't care what the waiter said she thinks she has a chance. She sat at the table with her Beyoncé barely noticed her at first, too focused on shading a smile that looked too familiar for comfort. But then a soft voice pulled her out of her thoughts.
"Woah those are beautiful."
Beyoncé looked up, giving a warm smile.
"Thank you," she said lowly, glancing down at her drawing. "I don't know who they are."
Kelly tilted her head. "Maybe they're important to you.."
Beyoncé sighed. "If they were, I wouldn't have forgotten them."
Something about her own words made her chest ache. She didn't want to forget this moment, this woman standing in front of her, looking at her like she mattered. And for the first time in a long time, Beyoncé felt something flutter inside her...something she couldn't name, but something she desperately didn't want to lose.
So she asked, "What's your name?"
"Kelly"
"Kelly. Kelly. Kelly." Beyoncé repeated it softly, so she wouldn't forget.
Kelly giggled.
"What's your?"
"Beyoncé"
"Beyoncé hm that's pretty"
Beyoncé smiled. "Thanks"

The two started dating shortly after that day. Although Beyonce liked her she gave Kelly numerous times to back out, she knew how complicated it was to be with her. But Kelly knew what it meant to be with someone like Beyoncé, still she never hesitated. Every morning, she left sticky notes around Beyoncé's apartment.
"Morning baby
Don't forget to eat breakfast! You love waffles.""I'll be by after work. I love you."
"Don't forget Kelly. You love her."
Beyoncé reads them every morning. Some days, she woke up in a panic, not knowing why her heart ached. But then she'd see the notes, and even if she couldn't remember every detail, she knew there was love here. She knew Kelly was hers.
