"So you also told mommy about me," Bjorn grinned, looking around the guys.
All the members of the scarlet rose were sitting at the table, including the leader himself. Only Alisha stood a little apart, looking sternly at the man. There were still pieces of broken vases on the floor.
"Show some respect," the girl said seriously, taking a step forward. "You have to tell me about these things. I'm not your friend or your sidekick. I'm your partner, and you had no right to..."
"Well, well, chill out, darling," Bjorn raised his hands defensively. "I get you. Okay, maybe it really wasn't too nice of me. But by and large, what could have happened?"
"What could have happened?" it seemed that the owner of the establishment was even slightly shocked by the calmness of her interlocutor. "It's better to ask what else can happen! If the Black Baron starts looking for you – and he will – he will stumble upon this place. And I don't need any problems, if you still remember our agreements."
"Are you serious? Do you believe that he will decide to take revenge on us? Have these cowards filled your head with all sorts of nonsense?"
"Sometimes I just marvel at your self-conceit," Alisha dropped her arms resignedly, throwing her face to the ceiling. "I don't have time for all this. You will immediately return everything you took from him."
The leader of the scarlet rose laughed. At one point, he even tried to find support in the face of Rogot, but he only looked away wearily. Eugene watched them all, resting his chin on his palm. His face was covered by the cape again, but he could see perfectly well how Violet was boiling with anger, and how terribly annoyed Gurar looked.
"You're kidding, honey, right?" having calmed down, the man got up from the table.
"Is that the impression you're getting?" Alisha threw up her hands.
"Well, it's about to start," the lizard stretched his legs along the table and clenched his jaw, trying his best to control himself.
"I won't return anything," Bjorn's mercy was instantly replaced by anger. "Only if you're going to make it up to me."
"Then pack your bags and get out of here," the girl said in a raised voice.
Rogot immediately rose from his seat:
"So, you two, calm down..."
"Who do you think you are, Alisha, huh?" the leader of the scarlet rose went to the interlocutor. "Should I remind you how pathetic your diner was before meeting me?!"
The guys at the table started up – now Eugene and Violet were on their feet.
"Well, I don't need your services anymore," Alisha had to lift her chin to look into the man's face, but she still looked stoic and confident.
"You want to kick us out, huh?" Bjorn chuckled. "Then pay the penalty first," he turned around and headed for his seat.
"A penalty?" The owner started to follow him, but Eugene grabbed her wrist, stopping her. "Have you completely lost your mind? That's not what we agreed on!"
"That's right," the man was intoxicated by his pseudo-power, "we had some kind of agreements. It is a pity that they were not certified. And even if there were, who would you turn to? Would you go to the king and tell him that a bunch of thieves won't take you in?"
"You bastard, Bjorn!" Alisha screamed. Eugene was still standing by to prevent her from attacking the leader of the scarlet rose. "I have a daughter now! What am I going to do when the Black Baron's henchmen come here?!"
