Author's POV

As the train pulled into the station, the group gazed out the windows in awe. The sleek, modern architecture of London's King's Cross station stretched out before them, a stark contrast to the quaint, rustic landscapes they'd passed through on their journey.

As they stepped off the train, the cool London air enveloped them, carrying the scent of coffee and pastry wafting from the station's cafes. The sounds of the city - the hum of traffic, the chatter of pedestrians, the wail of sirens in the distance - created a vibrant, pulsating energy that seemed to reverberate through every cell of their bodies.

"Wow, we're really here!" Mayank breathed, eyes wide with excitement.

As they made their way through the bustling station, they couldn't help but marvel at the sheer scale and grandeur of the city. Towering skyscrapers and ancient landmarks alike seemed to stretch up to the clouds, their diverse architectural styles a testament to London's rich, storied history.

"Shall we start exploring?" Prerna grinned.

And with that, they set off into the unknown, ready to discover all that London had in store for them.

Mayank's POV

I went to Poonam's department in the train, only to find her peacefully sleeping while her head was rested on the seat.

Damn, how pretty.

She looks like a heavenly dream while sleeping.

Wait! I shouldn't be admiring her too much, I'm Mayank Charming Patil. She should admire me instead.

Screw it, I couldn't help but stare at her for awhile. Amidst the crowded environment of the train, I stood there, gazing at her beautiful face.

Should I click a picture of her?

But it's not gonna be a good thing if I just click her in my phone, without her consent.

Screw it man!

I proceeded to take my phone out of my pocket and captured her picture.

I was wondering if I should wake her up.

"Is me sochne wala kya hai bhai, utha usko." I whispered to myself.

"Poonam!" I say, in a louder voice.

No response.

I say again, "Poonam!"

Yet, no response.

I noticed that she was wearing airpods in her ears, which were covered by her hair, so I couldn't realize it the first time. This is why she wasn't responding to me.

I took a few steps towards her, and gently removed the airpods from her ears, making sure it doesn't seem creepy or inappropriate to her.

"Poonam!" I say again, trying to wake her up.

She slowly opened her eyes, with a yawn and then her eyes widened.

"Uh- I'm sorry, I didn't know main kab so gayi thi music sunte sunte. Aap kab aaye mujhe pata nahi chala." She spoke, every single word coming out of her mouth was sounding like a sweet, soothing sound of music to me.

"Koi baat nahi, station aa gaya hai. Chalen?" I say, before extending my hand towards her.

I know this is a bit filmy, but who cares. Women like confident men anyway.

To my surprise, she completely ignored my gesture and began to grab her luggage.

"Actually, mujhe meri friend yahan se pick karne aayegi. Aap jaao, see you at the hotel." She smiled at me.
