Rachel's point of view

The next morning I woke up and checked Twitter and saw that I had a message from Vic Fuentes himself. I read it a few times and I didn't know if I should reply and even if I did, how would I reply?  I sat there for a minute, unsure what to do. "What to do, I can't just tell the lead singer of Pierce the Veil that his brother bullied me in high school and doesn't even remember me." I said aloud, Mittens came over to me and jumped onto my lap and meowed. I smiled and petted her. I sighed and decided to reply to Vic.

"Thank you, you're so amazing. Your music helped save my life when others destroyed it."  I pressed send because I didn't know what else to say without spelling my whole story. I got up and walked to my room and grabbed a bra and panties along with  a pair black skinny jeans and my white Ariel the little mermaid tank I walked to the bathroom and turned on the shower and waited until the water was hot before stripping down and getting it. I stood there, looking at the ceiling, while the water rolled down my skin and washed away the pain of yesterday.

I washed myself and my hair and shaved, then I got out. I wrapped my towel around myself and wiped the steam off from the mirror and looked at myself, I tried to smile but it didn't work. I frownd and looked at my collarbones and my hair. I shook my head and dried off, then getting dressed. I plugged my blowdryer and dried my hair. I walked back to the kitchen and sliced an apple, nibbling on it as I turned some music on it. Cinema by Skrillex came on and I bounced around as I looked for my shoes.

I finished the apple and got my grey Toms on, and walked back to the bathroom, brushing my teeth. "What makeup should I wear today?" I asked myself as I looked through my make up bag. I applied a thin line of eyeliner and mascara. I grabbed my pink grapefruit lip gloss and shoved it on my pocket. I put deodorant on and left the bathroom. I grabbed my phone, and my keys, and my black coach purse. "Bye Mittens, be a good kitty!" I yelled and smiled, before walking out of the door and locking it.

I walked to my car and got in, starting the car I drove to the nearby Starbucks. For some reason I felt the urge to have something from Starbucks. The drive wasn't long, I parked and got out and walked in the door. The fresh and strong scent of coffee filled my nose and made me smile. I walked in line and looked at the menu. I could feel people staring at me, but I shook it off. "Can I have a Very Berry Hibiscus please?" I asked, smiling and the girl behind the counter smiled and nodded and wrote down my order. I paid and moved aside.

I looked around and when my drink was ready, I grabbed it and walked to a empty table in the corner. I sat down and pulled out my phone, and saw that once again Vic had messaged me. I couldn't help but smile as I read it. "I know this is sudden and such but we should hang out sometime, I'm always wanting to meet fans on a personal level but it's like they just want to scream and rip my clothes off. Ha, but you seem calm. Hope I'm not freaking you out!"

I blushed slightly and looked around and was happy to see nobody was staring at me, I shrugged and figured, why not hang out with a famous band member who's related to the man who ruined me. "Sure! I'm at the Starbucks near where the meet and greet was! I'll be inside"  I pressed send but then as soon as I set my phone down, I panicked. What if everyone came? I could feel my body heat rise but I shook it off, if it happened then I'll say something finally.

I kept looking towards the door, and finally when I thought he wasn't gonna show, I saw Vic walk in, wearing sunglasses and a beanie. I waved and he smiled brightly, walked over to me and sat down acrossed from me. "Rachel?" he asked quietly and I smiled. "Hi Vic" I said, quietly, making sure nobody heard us.  "I'm going to go get a drink" Vic said and got up and walked in line, I sat there, feeling a tad awkward. He returned with the same drink that I had. "Always wanted to try it" Vic smiled and I nodded.

"So, how are you?" I asked, quietly and he smiled brightly. "I'm great, but then I saw your account and I want you to know that you're beautiful Rachel. I know you don't think so, but you are. I asked you if you wanted to hang out because I just feel this connection of I've met you before yesterday." all the words spilled out of his mouth quickly and I fought the tears back as I smiled slightly. "Maybe I just have one of those faces that seem familiar?" I asked, and he shook his head. "No, I know I've seen you before, I'll find you. But, for now how about we just hang out?" He smiled and I nodded.

"To new friends!" He laughed as he held up his drink and I held up mine, laughing. "So, are you gonna start touring soon or?" I asked, leaning in so he could hear me, he leaned in also and took a sip of his drink. "We have a break to work on new music and to relax." I nodded and watched him smile, I had to admit Vic Fuentes had an adorable smile. "So, for a thirty year old guy you look young" I laughed lightly as Vic blushed deeply. "I know, I don't feel that old yet though!" He laughed and looked at me. "I'm twenty seven" I answered his unasked question.

"Ah, well you don't look twenty seven" He laughed. "I say we go and do something" Vic said, jumping up from his seat and I followed him, laughing. I couldn't believe I was hanging out with Vic. "Okay, where are we going?" I asked, as we talked side by side on the sidewalk. "Um, how about the park?" I nodded as a yes and we walked in silence, it surprisingly wasn't an awkward kind of silence; it was more of a comforting silence, I enjoyed it.

Vic's phone started buzzing loudly and I looked at it, while he pulled it out and answered it, "Hey Jaime" Vic said into the phone, "Yeah, I'm with her" He said lowly but I could hear it, I raised an eyebrow when Vic looked at me and he just smiled slightly and then after a few more minutes, Vic ended the call and looked at me. "So, Rachel. Wanna go meet the rest of the boys?"
