-[ Gotham City, Wayne Manor ]-
It's been a few minutes since Bruce went to find the other residents of the manor, and soon he walked back into Tonraq's room with Alfred and Dick right behind him. And when they entered the room Tonraq remained where he was seated on the floor, having only moved his other leg up so he could hug his knees in the time that they were gone.
"You called master Tonraq?" Alfred was the first to speak as the three settled into the room while still giving Tonraq his space. And the three then waited patiently as Tonraq's eyes darted across the floor in front of him for a bit.
"Um. . . Can. . Can you all just listen?. . Please?" Tonraq hesitantly asked to the three's confusion, but they soon nodded and found a place to sit. From there they waited a bit longer as Tonraq took a couple deep breaths, seemingly trying to steady himself. Then Tonraq took in one more breath and he seemed to have spaced out a bit as he exhaled. Then as Bruce was about to say something Tonraq began to talk with a far off look to his eyes.
-{ 3rd + Tonraq }-
"I was born in the South Pole." Snow, ice, wind, occasional sun, blizzard, and long nights.
"To a wonderful mother, who had a loving husband, but her body got weaker as a result." Beautiful, bright woman with a kind face, and man who's eyes held so much love and joy even if worry began to grow with in them.
"She didn't care much about it though as she was still able to do the things she loved, and her husband did everything in his power to make sure she could." A woman walking about as she carried a baby with her, and a man not too far behind keeping an eye on the two.
"However, two years later, I got a brother." A happy baby with a contagious laughter.
"Our mother grew even weaker, and her husband grew even more worried." A woman laid in bed with her two sons as the man tended to the needs of the three.
"Then after another two years her body could no longer hold out, and she died taking her loving husband with her." The older brother held his younger brother, while the man cried at the side of his wife. Tonraq spoke evenly as he continued to stare, and the three quietly took in every word letting him continue on uninterrupted.
"The next four years went on with nothing really deviating from a developed routine, as our father worked to keep himself busy as we spent our time in and around the village." A man with a blank face walking around their home and out into the tundra, as the two boys ran around with the other children.
"However, that all changed when I showed that I had the ability to water bend." The man's blank face showed a rare glimpse of emotion as others congratulated him and his son.
"From then on our father began training me, which often left my brother by himself, and a small injury here and there." The man led his son out into the tundra, as the younger stood by the door of their home. And when they returned the youngest was inside, still waiting, before running up to hug his brother who winced at a new bruise or scratch.
"I advanced very quickly through everything he taught me, but as I advanced his training grew more intense, more dangerous." A boy frightened as he was forced to spar against his father– who didn't really try and hold back– or was put in various situations.
"This continued on for four years, but after two my brother also showed to have the ability to bend, and because I didn't want my brother to go through what I did, we hid it from our father as I took the responsibility of teaching my brother instead for the other two years." The man trained his oldest son before bringing him back home before leaving again. The two sons then waited before leaving themselves to go practice. The three in the room continued to take in all this information and remain quiet to let Tonraq continue, as the only other thing they did was shift here and there.
