-[ Watch Tower, Earth's Orbit ]-{ Tonraq }-

The halls of this place were maze like, but after walking some of them for a bit I began to find my way. During my time walking about, I ended up quietly trailing one of the four at least two times. Though, every time I did they wouldn't notice me at first, but once they did they tended to try and get me to have a conversation with them– after they calmed down from the quick scare– but by that point I would immediately turn into a different hall. The only one that didn't do anything like that was Batman, and that is exactly why I am currently trailing him again. He, like the other two times, noticed me almost immediately and acknowledged my presence, but continued to just let me be, and on the occasion he would ask me to do something.

Now that I was currently following him again, I noticed that I was more comfortable with being closer to him than I did any of the four. But that thought was cut off as he suddenly came to a stop inside of a kitchen like room. He rummaged around for a moment before walking back toward me, which caused me to tense, but surprisingly he stopped right at the distance I've been keeping with him. Right when he stopped he tossed something at me, I flinched, but still managed to catch it and look at it.

'Why would he give me water? And there's a bar with different types of nuts and chocolate.' I thought to myself but my confusion probably showed on my face because he soon gave an explanation without any hesitation.

"Eat that, you haven't had anything since you've been here, and try to finish the water soon." Was all the explanation he gave as he walked away– keeping the distance I set.

'He's. . . Leaving me alone. . . With water. . . Unsupervised.' I thought to myself as I slowly ate the bar and tried to wrap my head around that. But eventually I did open the bottle, as I watched for Batman's reactions the whole time I did, then slowly drank it as I continued to follow him around.

The last stop he made was in a huge room with a two story ceiling, one wall was completely made of windows and steel boning, and towards the middle of the room was a big computer. He sat in front of the console and started his work, I stood to the side and waited for a while, staying in the same spot and looking around. When it didn't seem like he was going to move any time soon I began to walk around the room, while also keeping an eye on Batman and the other doors to the room.

When I was done I didn't really feel like exploring anymore, I felt tired, and I still haven't gotten any rest since I woke up, so I decided to sit against the wall closer to Batman. I took another drink from the bottle that was now at half and set it down next to me, but still well within Batman's field of vision, and I waited. The longer I sat there the more tired I got, I didn't want to get up, but I also didn't want to let my guard down, I didn't want to leave myself open, vulnerable, so fought to keep my eyes open. However, I soon lost that fight.

'This kid was basically made into some sort of soldier or attack dog. His responses to our movements, reactions, voices, tones, and actions. He knows how to fight, and well, he knows how to be stealthy, probably out of necessity, he knows how to read people, also probably out of necessity. He also tends to take a few seconds to make a decision, doesn't trust easy, is very careful with himself and others.' I thought to myself as I monitored the earth in case a hero was heeded, and noticed that the kid had fallen asleep rather close to me. The moment I looked back to the screen the others came in and walked up to me.

"It's good that he's finally resting, should we move him?" Diana spoke when she noticed the kid, but I didn't say anything as I'll stop them before they could.

"That would be preferred, as sleeping in that position would cause him to be sore when he wakes, but I would not recommend it." J'onn stated his input as he came up behind me to take over.

"Indeed moving him would be good, but I do not think that would be wise either." Arthur spoke next as he stood to the side closer to J'onn. After getting up I walked over to the other side of the monitors, still being careful to stay at the distance the kid set earlier, while also acting as a sort of barrier.

"It isn't good to just leave him like this." Diana spoke with determination as she walked up to the kid.

"Diana don't." I went to stop her but she was already too close as she reached to grab the kid.

It didn't feel like much time had passed before I was suddenly woken by the feeling of someone getting too close to me, and by the time I managed to open my eyes someone had grabbed me by the arm. From there, on pure instinct, I took the water from the bottle, turning it into ice before shooting it at whoever just grabbed me, while also trying to pull my arm out of the holed. When the hold didn't budge at the pull, I used it as an anchor instead so I could start to kick at the more vulnerable and easy spots to hit like the knees, inner thigh, and stomach.

However, the hold only tightened with my struggle, and to be honest, it was starting to hurt. But at that moment I was starting to panic, so I resorted to something I didn't really get to use very often, which was chi blocking. And so with a swift, hard punches to the underside of their upper arm and shoulder the hold loosened to a point where I could pry at the hand and slip out. Right as I slipped out and managed to scramble back a bit, black envelope my field of vision as whoever grabbed me took several steps back as well.

'No. Go away. You could be dead for all I care!' I thought to myself as a few memories I would rather forget flashed through my head as I continued to scramble back till my back hit something solid. Once I was stopped I shook my head a bit to try and see if it would help clear my mind, it somewhat worked, but I just pushed the rest away as best I could before looking back up. Which aloud me to see that it was Batman who stepped in front of me, and he was now standing in front of me with his back turned, yet he was also separating the one who grabbed me, Wonder Woman, who was now holding her limp arm, from me. They now looked like they were arguing but none of the words were registering.

'He's protecting me. Why would he do that?' I thought to myself as I looked at him with confusion and the slightest hint of trust. However, my attention was brought back to Wonder Woman, who kept trying to go around Batman to get to me, but he kept cutting her off. In that bit of time I was given, I was able to gather myself somewhat and soon brought myself to stand back up. When I looked back over she seemed to have finally given up, and Batman looked back over to me seeming to be analyzing me. And when he finished he motioned for me to follow him, and I did.
