Daesung at the movies

The sounds of chatter and the warm buttery scent of popcorn fill your senses as you turn around looking for you boyfriend, Daesung. You sigh, blowing your soft side swept bangs out of your eyes as you check your slim crystal encrusted watch that he bought you for your birthday last year.

"Hmm...8:35. He said he'd be here by eight thirty..." You say in your head.

Today was the Friday movie night that you had with him every once a month and today it was supposed to show the new scary movie that you've been longing to see.

A soft spiral of your hair fall down across your face and you tuck it behind your ear. You have your hair up in a subtle and pretty half do, just the way he loves it and also you are wearing a cute mint blue cardigan over a lace white dress that beautifully accented your innocent look.

You bite your lip as you look around once more. But nothing, just the golden lights of concession stands, the deep burgundy colored walls, and the crowds of people starting to get in lines. You think in your head, "He really should be here now or else we're gonna miss-"

"Ah a scary movie again? I thought we watched one last month!" A husky complaining voice came from the warmth on your shoulder as you feel two strong arms hug your waist from behind. You jump from his sudden voice and you turn your face to find him resting his chin on your shoulder.

It was him! Finally! The sudden scent of his sweet yet heady cologne overpowers your mind and his deep chocolate colored hair tickles your neck.

There is a wide and playful smile on his full pink lips and his fingers lock around your waist to keep you from pushing away.

"You're late!" You playfully scold as you pout cutely. Daesung leans in to give a quick peck on your lips and almost instantly, your lips form into a grin. How could you ever resist that silly smile of his and those slim cute eyes?

"Mian...the recording finished later than I thought." He speaks softly into your ear as he embraces you tightly.

Daesung releases you and grabs hold of your hand in his. His hand is warm and rugged, but very secure and protecting. And he's wearing a y black shirt that accents his firm pecs and muscles along with casual faded jeans...everything about him today just looks oh so boyfriend material.

He looks at you with pleading eyes and purposely makes a funny face, one that's bound to make you laugh.

"This movie's...too scary though. Jagi-ya, there's that movie about puppies." Daesung points his finger to the colorful movie poster with an adorable golden retriever in the front wearing a blue bandana. You did not come to the movies to watch a cute puppy dog movie that was supposed to leave you with a feel good feeling. You wanted to watch the new blood curdling horror film about the couple who walked into a gory haunted house! Perfect on a hot summer evening.

"But you promised oppa! Besides, I already bought the tickets!" You hold up the tickets in your fingers and wave them into his face.

"Ah this?" He quickly snatches the tickets out of your hands. "We can easily get a refund." Daesung holds the ticket high up in the air and starts to walk up to the ticket booth, "EXCUSE ME, REFU-"

You giggle as you pull him back and snatch the tickets out of his hand, "Ah~ oppa!" You can't help but burst in laughter at the silliness of your Jagi.

You pull him away with your arms clutched around his and he reluctantly follows you into the line.

People around you whisper to each other as they see you so close next to your handsome boyfriend. You can see the jealousy straight from the glare of their eyes but Daesung only pulls you closer. In the entire movie, he keeps one comforting arm around you as you lean on his firm chest and shoulder. But for some reason, he doesn't seem as scared because after a while, he stops flinching on the scary scenes. You look up and through the darkness of the movie theater, you see his eyes closed shut peacefully....he's sleeping..? Instead of waking him up, you just laugh to yourself and lean on his shoulder again. The warmth of his skin caressing you and just being with him was what you really wanted anyways.
